    Unibet stealing money

    I registered on Unibet 23 June 2010.
I'm very good skill games player.
I played skill games on Unibet.com, and won some money.
I have to withdraw three times: 40 euro, 540 euro, and 650 euro and every time
I received that money on my e-wallet on Web$. It tooks about several hours
    to receive money.
But next time, when I tried to withdraw about 500 euro another thing happens.
Unibet requested my passport, driver license and so on. I've send it to them, than they
requested printscreen of my e-wallet page, I've send it to.
After that my account was blocked.

I wrote a lot of letters to Unibet support but they didn't answer.
Finally, I tried to talk with support in their "Live chat" and here is list of that chat:

Welcome to Unibet (English), Laura will be right with you.
    Laura
Welcome to Unibet! How may i help you?

zedbet? come on. 2good 2be true odds. obviously such shop is deposit only. maybe occasional withdrawal to lure more from you.

unibet is different story. they are regulated and in good standing. account closure is possible of:
    - playing and winning against same player
    - collusion with someone to win against other players.
    - ip - breaches, double account etc.

if you did nothing of the above, call them and speak to management. write to regulator and complain via SBR.

Good luck ... they summarily closed / paid my account balance out a few years back when I won a few bets in a row and refused to enter into discussion as to why, CS was abysmal imo.

He means that the customer service was really, really bad. (cs = customer service; imo = in my opinion).

I've had a quick look at their website, and they seem like a really large outfit. They're part of a plc (public company). They're also eCogra approved, so it might be worth submitting a complaint there. Here's the link to get you started: http://ecogra.org/Disputes/PoliciesandProcedures.aspx

you will be fine then. ecogra and sbr complaint form should move things for you.
in case you speak with someone from management of unibet - explain you never worked in any collusion, keep it calm, inform them on complaint actions and politely request they look into your issue.

Telephone call is much more effective than e-mails. CS can easily ignore an email but at least they have to talk to you on the phone.

I guess what happens to you here is the same thing with good blackjack players in Las Vegas. When they see a long term winner, they kick him out.

Are you talking about me? There is still no letters from Unibet. Account is still blocked. And still no money.
I don't know what is "account holder has actually been informed".

I can not understand that. Unibet receive a fixed percent from any bet in skill games. They are always in profit, and they pay to players not their own money.

But they prefer players with same skill level playing against each other instead of some pros pomping the money out of the server. Players with same skill level play more generate more rake.

I'm not saying that "some player" has multiple accounts but it seems that they paired him / her in any way. I really hope you get your money SOME PLAYER. Its yours, not Unibet " You deserve your winnings.

    Here is my story about Unibet;
Unibet is one of the easiest companies to beat the sports betting and they are slow to change the odds after the game market. They go on a heavy banging on this. When clients have won against them for some months, the customer becomes sharply limited at the games. The only thing you can do in that situation if you want to continue buying good odds, is opening new accounts (in other people's names) Unibet exploit this to the max, the caller also home to people and make sure you are you. This is a strategy by Unibet. Stealing money to customers who won big against them. They put themselves in win-win situations to the client. Losing the customer, everything is ok. If the customer wins a lot of money to start their strategy to try to link customers to the same IP address, etc.. The strategy is to block the accounts and steal their money. However, this is nothing new in the industry, but that such a large company Unibet should do this is just too damn. Then consider themselves suddenly other smaller players do the same. Unibet's behavior could have dire consequences for the entire sports betting industry and must be fought. For those who open an account with Unibet in just one name and with only one IP address, it is usually not a problem. The problems come when Unibet became suspicious of one's identity and to play in an efficient manner.

I really dont understand this same IP rule, if me and my brother place bets using our home wireless network with same company it means that our money are 'eligible' for being confiscated?!? Why didnt unibet close accounts from same ip before any bets are placed and refund the balance...they wait maybe you loose, if not oops they 'discover' you share IP with some other account. I think the authorities have to come with a firm rule about shared IP. You share IP goodbye from the start, not wait and see.
    Unibet should be downgraded quickly!!

I don't understand why Unibet has been downgraded only to B and not to C at least, if they offer no explanation whatsoever.

Even BetUS always offers (albeit dogdy) anwsers and they are C-

It's a shame that sportsbooks still do this kind of robberys to players and no one helps the players.
Lga or IBAS are allways on the sportsbooks side.
We can't do nothing against the books.
So, my advice is: Play on Betfair
