Where can I wager $25,000+ on a bet?

    Hi,

All the sportsbooks I've seen have limits too low in my opinion. Is there any way for me to place larger wagers such as 25k or 30k? I live in california not vegas so im not sure how to go about doing this.

Any help is much much appreciated.

    Thanks so much,

    Brandon

I checked bookmaker and for the NBA, MLB & NHL which are the 3 im mainly interested in it says the limits are 5K. How do you know you can wager 30K there? thanks.

    Give them a call.

More than a few will take a 25K bet by phone that they will not take online. The numbers you are looking at are online limits I think.

Sounds like calling will do the job. Thanks. And I plan on placing a lot of bets but dont want to move to vegas or fly down on every bet, sq764. Thanks guys. If there are other reliable sportsbooks as well that you know of that will take a wager that large. Let me know. Thanks!

I was talking about placing a 25k wager, besides getting them the money to place the wager will be a pain unless you're open to wiring them the money from your bank account

I just realized pinnacle isnt open to usa players and with matchbook you need someone to match your bet. I dont really wanna rely on that. Sounds like bookmaker.com is the only option?

sometimes, matchbook has very high liquidity on some games. You can accept the amount of open offers up to the total balance of your free funds.

For example: Some players offer a total $50,000 on a side of a game, you can match the whole $50,000 if your free fund's amount is equal or greater than $50,000 + the commission credit cover.

Bookmaker, The Greek are the only two available to USA players that I would trust to pay me if I won. But quite a few other books will take the bet, and probably would pay you. But as the Greek puts it, "sweat the game, not the payout".

Agree. If you lose, there should not be any problem. If you win, you may find difficulties to withdraw your money back to US.

You will have a problem getting that much down at one place even in Vegas. Since you are from the US, then your only option is to open several accounts at different books to reach the 25K limit.

Also, 5Dimes claims to reset your limit a couple of minutes after each bet. So, in theory, you should be able to get $25K down.

    BoL,

Why is anyone taking this thread seriously. Anyone with half a brain can see this is a joke.

Guy shows up out of the blue to ask about placing $25k bets? How many people in the world actually do this? I would say less than 500 (not talking about just on huge events like the super bowl, but on a regular basis).

OP is probably a joker, but so what?

It is a topic. Takes as long to type out an answer as a flame. Might as well give the OP a benefit of a doubt.

If you want to wager $25,000 on a bet, I suggest you to do it in a legal and low-risk way, go to Vegas. Internet betting is illegal in US, I believe.

BookMaker, 5 dimes, Greek and Pinnacle may be financially strong; the risk is still higher than holding the cash in your hand.

If you try to bring back a big winning sum back to US, be careful, it is still a form of money laundering - your money is illegal.

An interesting thread, I am sure BM would take the wager, but wht would you want to wager that amount? Is that going to be your consistent unit?
