    Update: The player acknowledges accepting $10,000 from Sportsbetting.com, but denies being made aware of any software glitch.

    SBR is following up.

    The player had fallen out of touch with SBR. A new manager at Sportsbetting.com has been addressing cases with us recently, and provided some closure for us for here. Our newswire was updated today, and the player was also sent an email to confirm.

    Sportsbetting.com management: There was a bug our software supplier was unaware of. This player identified it and used that knowledge to win over $100,000 with a $280.00 loyalty comp. After investigating, our software supplier provided us with the details of the bug and how the player exploited it, allowing them to fix it. We contacted player to let him know of our findings. We also provided him with a percentage of his winnings, as he did assist the software supplier in finding a bug in the system. He accepted the offer and still logs into his account to this day.

    Umm...is it me, or does this resolution mean very little in the absence of a disclosure of what % he was paid? From everything I read, the only thing the player did wrong was try to win, by playing within the rules of roulette. If he was told "take 5% or get nothing," and he took the $5k so he wouldn't get stiffed, I think that matters here. And if they paid him 85% of what he won, I think that matters in a different way. Can we get more info please?

    Was this on a 1st payout? I found them quite strict on ID verification which took a week or so, but since then my withdrawals have always been done in the timescale stated.

    Sportsbetting.com claims to have placed a note in the player's account, when giving him $10,000 of the $100,000 he won playing roulette last summer. They claim that a bug was exploited in the casino, but that the player's play led to the discovery so a percentage of the winnings were given to him.

    Management says that the player never once disputed or complained to them directly about the negative adjustment.
