    Hollywood Sportsbook claims new management

    Are they telling the truth?

I had a Hollywood account back in the day when they were independent, but I withdrew as soon as sportsbook.com took over. I got an email today claiming that they are under new management, and that their site will be completely overhauled. As of right now their lines are identical to sportsbook.com's.

Does anyone know what the deal is here. They're offering me a pretty huge bonus to redeposit, but I'm skeptical about giving them money due to their parent company's sketchyness.

Why would you play with them for? I understand you had an account with them. But sometimes its best to move on. You should try 5dimes or Matchbook. Two solid outs with a reputation on guarantee payouts and best lines in the business.

Would you forward that email to me at Justin at sportsbookreview.com? If they have new management, maybe we can get them to pay some correlated parlay winners that were robbed in the past.

    Thanks for the note, Ian.

I spoke with their Livechat, and they said there is no change in management -- just some changes to the appearance to their website.

I just forwarded it to you.

EDIT: I sent it off before I saw your latest post. Thanks for getting to the bottom of this.

    Hello All

Sorry for any confusion here. I am part of the new management team here at HW. Unfortunately, the Live Chat representative may have given you incorrect information.

Hollywood does in fact have a new management team in place and is currently working on some major improvements to our services. In the next few months you will see a new website, new features and many improvements to operations which will benefit all our loyal and new customers, so keep an eye on us.

    Best regards

    The Hollywood Team

hi, what is the new management team's position on STOLEN FUNDS from players from the correlated parlay issue, aside from burying your head in the sand? no matter how you improve the site, a leopard does not change its spots unless proven otherwise..

A very good question. Is management addressing money that Hollywood stole from players?

allow me to explain further (full disclaimer: i have a personal vested financial interest in this):

more so than some cosmetic superficial changes to the website graphics, players are far more interested in reliability and confidence in a book to make payments. this is why books like bookmaker/cris, greek, pinny, 5 dimes are so successful, they have a documented lengthy successful payout record and have gained the trust/confidence of players.

hollywood, meanwhile have demonstrated the opposite since being incorporated into the jazzette platform, cumulating in a six-figure full thievery of their established veteran players' base. and now you come on sbr and expect potential new/returning players to regain confidence enough in your platform to deposit/redeposit simply b/c of new graphic interface and a reference to a "new management" w/out addressing the old outstanding thefts?

well i say, once a thief, always a thief. w/out returning funds to the customers wronged in the past, hollywood is nothing but another cascade w/ better window dressing. it's a two way street: you want players' confidence, you need to demonstrate you're ready to earn it.

otherwise, advertise your unscrupulous practices elsewhere, b/c no one smart will buy your bs.
