Bookmaker's Interbook Transfer Fee is 100 USD! What a joke!

It's free in TheGreek, BetJamaica, Matchbook!

    What a joke!

Bookmaker should change this. There's no fee in other books for interbook transfer (book-to-book transfer) why Bookmaker charges 100$?

Not to mention, if you transfer above 5k, the cost is 200$! (500 - 5k is 100$)

They have high fees. How many people do you hear complain about slow-pays with Bookmaker? I'd rather see high fees and quick payouts than month long+ jerking around.

Yeah, I was going to say, the last time I tried to transfer money there, I wanted to move $2500 or $3000 to some other major book and they quoted me a fee of $200 or $300.

From a 5 figure point of view I totally agree. From a $200 dollar bankroll point of view, being jerk around isn't all that bad considering the $100 alternative.

Even if you transfer 10k, 200$ fee is still ridicilious since it's free in other books..

Justy, what about zero interbook fee and quick payouts? Much better I guess..

TheGreek is better then Bookmaker. Not to mention, Bookmaker's first quarter lines are 30cent while TheGreek is offering 20cent lines for quarter bets..

I can't understand why you're so fanatic about Bookmaker..

that is insane, and as someone posted out justin's justification doesn't make a whole lot of sense here. A book should not be trying to pull their profit from insane fees.

I'm not a fanatic... I like both Greek and Bookmaker. I'm just pointing out that BM is very fast at payouts. It is a trade-off. Maybe having these huge fees lowers the frequency people ask for payouts.

Cris' transfer fees are unusually high and I don't defend them. However, The Greek and BetJam incoming transfers require a 4x rollover. That's not exactly free in mind.

They charge 300 for anything over 10k and 200 for 5k to 10k. It is an improvement from last year though when their max b2b transfer was 5k

I think they still may be...I wanted to transfer 5k to either 5dimes or Matchbook I can't remember, but they quoted me $300... absolutely insane.

I think you can take a free $2500 cash out (not transfer) on Friday's. Otherwise, yes, transfers there need Vaseline.

I thought it was still $100 but was told that the minimum transfer fee is now $200 to 5dimes. Is it just me or did they raise the fee for everyone?

I guess the morale of the story is: don't do Book to Book transfer at Bookmaker.

Bookmaker's practices are really starting to become second rate of every aspect of its business model.

If I was trying to get out say 10-15K or something of that nature, that fee really wouldn't bother me at all if it was a fast payout.

No but I think it is a bad business practice and I see a lot of that going on at CRIS these days. Unfortunately it a not uncommon in business today.

New management comes in and tries to maximize profit. They make a few moves and things look better. Then they make a few more and the results don't come. To compensate they make more changes and before you know it the business has lost focus and the results take a turn for the worse.

CRIS was no frills, high limit, a market leader. Now big bonuses, reward points, high transfer fees, 20 cent baseball lines, limited CBB totals ... and I am betting the bottom line is starting to slip. A complete 180 in business focus. And unlike the past ...no company posters jumping in and defending them.

I've seen the pattern in other companies. The people under the top level know it is true that's why they don't rally to the company's defense anymore. They may not publically criticize but I would also bet they are not happy with the company's new focus.

Sure they still pay and if you want play NFL, CFB and CBB sides at -110 nothing wrong with them. But if you are doing this with any level of seriousness they are becoming a secondary out.

This has all been a progression in the last 3 years.

They may not publically criticize but I would also bet they are not happy with the company's new focus.
Pretty soon they won't have a choice. The transparency of events will for force them to take a stand one way or another.

Before they banned me from the loyalty program. I would get 2 free payouts per month. Now the cheapest way to get my money out is $50 for a 3000 check. What a joke. This book has really fallen. 5dimes, Greek have moved far out in front of these clowns.

these fees are silly. no matter what the reason is for them, they are just ridiculous. Should never be more than say 50-80 bucks regardless of the amount transferred.
