Vegas Casino with $5 tables on the strip?

Heading out to Vegas with the girl Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and was just wondering if any of you knew where I could find $5 minimum tables on the strip? Pretty much everywhere I know of is a $10 minimum, which doesn't bother me too much, but the longer the money lasts the better. I'll be staying at the Luxor so the closer the better. Thanks in advance.

It's unlikely you'll find $5 minimum table games at a majority of the casinos located on the Las Vegas strip. Circus Circus and the Sahara may have $5 minimum table games in the early hours / morning when action at the table games are the slowest.

However, Circus Circus and the Sahara are located at the north end of the Las Vegas strip and it's not the most desirable area to visit (at least in my opinion). From my experience, it's like walking into a whole different world compared to the patrons that visit the casinos on the Las Vegas strip like the Wynn and the Bellagio.

Nevertheless, have fun and win some of that casino money!!

Damn, thought that might be the case (only lousy hotels and/or odd hours)... thanks guys. The girlfriend is only bringing like $100 or so which means she'll have to hit early to last on $10 tables

I'll just have to double her up on a "lock of the year", hahahaha.

Think of it this way though...She loses early...She'll need someone to console her. lol. Good luck though man, hope you have an awesome time. I wish I could afford a nice trip to Vegas with the wife right now myself.

cash flow puts u behind the eight ball right off the start. Only way to make money playing bj is to have enough doe to weather a bad shoe. Once u hit a good shoe, walk away. Do this over time and u win BIG. If u only have a couple hundreds u may have to sit and play at tables full of novice players (a-holes) that favor the houses odds and get screwed that much quicker. I was in AC on Friday with a rather wealthy friend. We had dinner at Ol Homestead then lit a couple cigars and sat at the 50.00 min table. I bought in 20% of his bankroll and we agreed on a set target (double our money) within 4 shoes we had accomplished our goal. Amazing how much better players at the 50 table are. No dumb fvcks pulling cards on dealers 4. Anyways king didnt mean to ramble and I wish u luck bro it' gonna be tuff on a $5 table. especially when u tell some cat, "do u mind if we finish the shoe before u buy in?"

Yeah I feel you happy boy...

Recently became a student of the game and have finally memorized optimal strategy to the point where it is second nature. As such, I can only imagine how many times I am going to watch in disgust as idiots screw up everything.

Luxor gave me two free nights which is very nice. I've got about $600 to spare, so I'll try my luck at hold'em, blackjack, pai gow, hockey, and the horsies. Regardless, 3 days and 2 nights away from everything with the girlfriend alone is well worth the $600.

She actually wants to play 3 card, which is bad enough WITHOUT paying 10 per ante.

Casino Royale just south of the Venetian or the Irish-themed place right next to the Imperial Palace (whose name escapes me currently) are you best chances for $5 limits. Probably only on a week night, though.

Many of the casinos have video blackjack machines where you can set the bet to $5 (or even $1). No counting into the shoe with those, though, but you can enjoy The Wynn's atmosphere on the cheap that way. Eat at the Italian place in The Wynn - good stuff!

    Have a great trip!
