My problem is this: You spent countless hours promoting the Derby, and I spent all day betting horses through your racebook, which I believe is one of the best. So the site was overwhelmed, thats one thing. Then I call your CS, and get a rep after being on hold for more than 10 min. Then I am forwarded to the racebook, put on hold for at least 20 minutes, then when I finally get through, I get disconnected.

Then I call back, and am forced to wait again. Finally I do get my bets in, but the way it was handled was awful. I sent CS an email, and they responded with some canned message about yes we are down, but don't worry, your funds are safe. Very disappointing.

I have withdrawn all funds, and will await my check. I really like Bodog. I really like the Racebook and Casino. But this is the second time I have gotten so angry, that I have emptied my account. This really should be made right.
I will pass this feedback on to a senior CS manager- thank you for bringing this to my attention!

I pulled out all my funds after this happened and I just got an email today saying I'll get 20% on my next deposit. If you guys haven't gotten an email like this and still would like to play at Bodog I'm sure you can contact CS and they should be able to help you out.

"Plenty of props" that they often won't let you bet. My account has a very long delay on it and the majority of the time I try to bet a prop, I get a "sorry, the line has moved" message. I find Blowdog to be a completely worthless out, they're basically BetUS without the bonus scams and payout delays.

If they don't let you bet certain numbers then you likely would have taken them for tens of thousands already if you have the cash.

Books that give you tens of thousands of dollars are good books, no?

No way. I gave them very minimal action before they put me on a long delay, and as I recall I was only a small winner there. When I initially deposited there many years ago, I was betting about $200-$300 a game, and I was able to make 3 or 5 bets total before I got switched off the "square" line set. Their public line set is completely vanilla so I had no reason to bet any straight wagers there, and I was able to bet perhaps 10 or 15 props total before I was put on a lengthy delay. I would estimate perhaps 60% of the time I'd try to bet a prop, they'd say "sorry, the line has moved." I got into the habit of hitting refresh before betting to see if the lines had moved legitimately or if they were just using the delay to update their off lines, and it was clearly the latter. That's exactly the same shit BetUS pulled on me.

It tells you everything you need to know about this shit book that a Bodog rep will make multiple comments about a minor outage but completely ignores the comments about dual lines, lengthy delays on props, etc.

Understand your reasoning. Check back with all 3 US providers..HRTV, YouBet and TVG. Think there are a few smaller others. They've semi-recently increased the state provisions.

Yes..the tax laws are ridiculous and the major deterrent for smart horseplayers. Hence the 10 cent superfecta. But if you do happen to hit a "big one" or anything near it I'd be worried about collecting it, the span of time to collect it or continuing on with that offshore book again. And check their maximum payout rules first.

How the heck am I supposed to bet "the right things" if just about everything comes back with "sorry, the line has moved?"

They routinely have ridiculous edges on certain props. If you're whining that your profits are being changed 5% when you bet, kudos to Bodog because they're saving their bottom line off of a minor quibble.

I'm not a high roller by any stretch of the imagination but it simply isn't worth my time to waste my time looking for "ridiculous edges" on a $50 prop that they might not even let me bet anyway. There were times I got the "screw you, the line has moved" message 3 times in a row trying to bet stuff. I thought you were initially saying I didn't give them proper cover play to fly under the radar initially, but when I started using Bodog sometime around 7 or 8 years ago I was very new to serious betting so there's no way I was anything resembling a "professional" at the time. permanent delay, I g

You have no clue if you think it's a "minor quibble" to put someone on a lengthy delay almost immediately after they sign up and use them, along with other people, to adjust your lines because you're too lazy or cheap to actually hire a competent linesman, and that doesn't even cover the dual lines bullshit.

Bodog's dual lines is a very intelligent move by the company to ensure that they jack up the price on the wrong side for as many squares as they can find. Everyone (with a clue) gets "the line has moved" message when they're trying to bet. If you're letting this effect you from getting money down on a winning side, kudos to Bodog.

Have you not made 5 figures off this site yet?

Yeah, ridiculous edges are great with $50 limits.

You do realize that you can run bad at some of these square shops and get limited/cut off completely before you ever see a dime?

Yes, a "very intelligent move" that would be illegal in Nevada and probably any regulated jurisdiction, and something they flat out lie to their customers about.

Have you not made 5 figures off this site yet?
I didn't even give them 5 figures worth of action before my prop limits were slashed to either $50 or $100 across the board and had the long delay put in place, and I'm certainly not unique in that regards, plus the prop limits weren't even that high to begin with. (I'd probably made 15 bets total for perhaps $4k in action total.)

How are you supposed to beat a book for 5 figures at $50 a pop? I'd find a line there at +180 that should be +140, so I try to bet my $50 and get "sorry, the line has moved. it is now +165." Try to bet again, and get "sorry, the line has moved, it is now +150." Maybe they'll take the +150, and I now have a whopping $2.08 of EV. I guess if I made 5000 of those bets I could take them for 5 figures, but after all that dicking around and letting them essentially use me to set their prop lines without even letting me have my puny $50 bet, I wasn't going to deal with them any more.

How can you possibly defend a book that's too scared to even take a $50 prop bet without putting someone who'd barely played there before on a 1 minute plus delay?
