    It’s not that big of a deal to others because they are losing gamblers or don’t really understand what it takes to win.
    Some people are just going to bet what’s given to them and have a few runs each sports season then lose that money and deposit more chasing that one run they had. If you don’t understand how the books are trying to beat you than you are five steps behind and I hope for those peoples sake they are just recreational bettors

    The first defense here, Laker, is to increase your outs which means increasing your screens for live trading which means increasing just about every effort it takes to get the job done.

    And even then, eventually you get fukked and are either forced to settle or get nothing at all. The job doesn't get done. Timing becomes everything.

    Thing is, it's not new. It's just a different form of the same things that have happened for a long time. It just feels like NFL halftimes all over again. Easily exploitable but even having the right bets, even with an extra half point, ends up screwing you by that half point.

    The analogy might not make much sense except to say that there are many areas in sportsbetting where we must sit on the fringe and poke in when we can because we are being defended against.

    And they have managed, for decades, internet or not, to build a big wall, a beautiful wall, that they probably got some mexican to pay for, because it's a big beautiful wall of defense.

    As even when we get to poke through the wall, it still doesn't always work out.

    To your first paragraph that is obviously DraftKings but most of the other options I have like FanDuel, betrivers etc all do the same and even worse in some cases.

    Offshore is better but they move way too fast.
