    BetDSI

I've been using BetDSI off and on for about 20 years. Overall it's been a good experience. However, I wanted to share a recent experience which resulted in me walking away from that site.

I just made a small deposit of $100 and received a 150% bonus. I understand NORMAL rollover rules. When I noticed my rollover % was not going up like it should I inquired about what the actual requirement was.

This is what I was told (I'd love to know if this is normal because it seems absolutely insane to me).....

The rollover is 25X my initial deposit + my bonus amount + the amount I won with my initial bet. Soooooo, I deposited $100, received a bonus of $150 and I won $650 with my initial bet. So they are saying that I have to wager $22,500 to earn my bonus. That is absolutely INSANE to me. Is this what the online books are doing these days? I really dont have the need to bet online. I did it just to be lazy one weekend. I cant imagine if I would have deposited $1000, received a $1500 bonus and been required to wager $200,000 to get my bonus

Never heard of your rollover amount having anything to do with your first wager, or any wager for that matter. Is it in their terms and conditions? That’s a new one, sounds like something they would do though or mycrookie.ag.

Looks like it is. I guess you should bet a small favorite with the initial freeplay. Now that I think about it I have seen some books do this if the amount won on the freeplay is more than the freeplay amount. I was thinking cash bonus for some reason.

    • In the event the winnings on a freeplay bonus wager are greater than the original bonus amount given. The winnings will be added to the deposit amount for rollover calculation purposes.

I HATE DSI and their bonuses. Way back this happened to me . I took a bonus and my first bet hit a decent win. Then they added that into the rollover and it was this beyond insane amount. I complained on SBR because someone explained it wrong to me when i asked because i deposited.

Then even after they moved the money into the regular account they said i still had to roll it over 1x again in real money. WTF . So once you finish in the bonus money area whatever that amount you move over is you have to roll over AGAIN. Because of this i almost never deposit there anymore. And before they went on their own they were one of my top used books.

One of my very close friends ran into an issue where he ran his bonus balance up to $30,000. They put a new rule in like 2 years ago where you forfeit the balance over $10,000. He completed the rollover and had to forfeit $20,000 which he won. His deposit was like $2,000 so it's not like he hit some super longshot parlay or anything crazy. Was just normal betting. If he had won it in his cash balance and not the bonus balance (they are separate) he'd have been fine. Makes no sense and seems like a silly way for them to trap players who run up a balance.

Shit book since they left the Bookmaker family. Out of the blue they gave me a no deposit bonus which I completed, but they wouldn't pay out anything. They claimed it was a mistake to send me the offer in the first place. It was just a matter of a few hundred bucks but it bothers me to this day. They've done this to others too. Most lose on this offer and may re-up based on the apparently good will gesture. The ones that profit from it, myself included, got stiffed. Long story short, avoid the new DSI.

gave me one of those ridiculous rollovers and then reduced my max bet to $25 if i remember right

i think i grinded out over 1000 bets just to clear a rollover, what a joke

One good thing I will say about DSI. Decent limits in basketball, and I would even say they have really good limits and lines for MMA. The thing is, there are several books that do well with those sports, so I don't feel like they set themselves apart. They also took their best sportsbook option away from me after I did pretty well. Still caught in a massive rollover loop with them; can't wait till I can get my money and call it quits.

Bringing this back from the dead since I’m going to reload there for a bonus. Wasn’t there some issue for folks who deposited, say $500 and got a 100% bonus where they limited your bet amounts or something?

They are not very fair minded is the biggest issue. If they decide to limit you or punish you it very often seems unreasonable how far they go.

Other traps to watch out for are a max win total from a bonus for people who joined after a certain date a few years back, and once you have completed the bonus rollover and transfer funds to your cash account you must do another 1x rollover of that amount before being able to withdraw.

Gave me a $500 bonus about 8 years ago then took it away after I lost the $500 i deposited, claiming I was up lifetime. Maybe I was up, but had bet about 500 grand in two years. Seems to me only a fool gives up that kind of action. Never played there again although they are still emailing me bonus offers. What do they expect, me to deposit again so they can take the bonus away again? But they did send me a nice XMAS gift basket from some deli in NYC a few years ago.
