It’s not about the 126$ deposit. It’s about the potential he could of turned it into. Not to mention they know most people would get tilted after getting robbed like that and would be completely thrown off their game and not betting clear minded.

Come on man! You know you need to use a 3rd party buffer wallet. We have been talking about that on here for years.

Why didn't you use a buffer?

I could have turned that $126 deposit into real money. I've done it before. With the Bovada 75% bonus they offer it would have been around a $200 funded deposit to my account after all was said and done. A few carefully placed bets here and there and I double that in a week. Then so on.

I also like throwing my books a bone every now and then to keep my accounts honest. Don't need to deposit a $1000 to any one book to make a dent fellas. I seldomly ever deposit more then $250 at any one time and in any one book of mine. I'm a grinder as I get my bets up to $100 on all my books and then that works for me going forward. That's how I sports gamble and I've done it for decades.

Remember, It's not about the amount you deposit into the books but it's all about the amount of the payouts fellas!

I'm retired JJ and comfortably paid. Property rich and not so much cash rich though.

I live in a big house in Santa Monica, California right now and own commercial property. Just finished a 1031 tax exchange on one of my properties in West LA and bought a Hardee's restaurant in Ohio for 2 million. I'm excited about it.

Now I can depreciate that Hardee's property and avoid paying alot of taxes going forward. Now that's how the rich get rich by using depreciation on your rental income properties to avoid paying income taxes on the rent you receive.

There is your real estate tax tip for the day boys and girls.

I own the property structure and land only JJ. The tenant rents and runs the Hardee's franchise restaurant business and pays me rent to operate it on my property. It's on a triple net lease so I'm hands free and do nothing. That means the tenant pays the taxes, insurance, upkeep, repairs, runs the business and I do nothing living here in California other then receive rental income every month. That's the way you do it and the way I like it with commercial property.

I found this property and bought it off loopnet.com a few months ago. Has a 5.75 cap rate return on the investment. 20 year existing lease guaranteed by the Hardee's franchise. So my investment is safe for 20 years.

I don't expect you guys to fully understand all that. I'll just say if any of you fellas come into real money buy some property and pay it off because God isn't making any more of it.

It sets you up for life.

What is it with people on here deriding anyone who treats money like it has value??

Well I did receive one last email just a few hours ago from Bovada CS. It's clear they are sticking to their guns. I got stiffed and I'm officially done with Bovada. I won't respond again. I give up..

At least I got an apology from CS for calling me Walter.

    Copy and Paste.

    Hi John,

Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.

Hope this email finds you safe and well!

Please accept my apologies for calling you by different name.

As I checked website generated BTC SV address, however funds were sent to regular BTC address,

In this case we are not able to credit funds to your account since it never reflected on your end.

I'd kindly suggest you to contact your wallet provider for further assistance regarding this case.

We're available to help 24/7 if you need anything else.

    Thanks,

No one has an issue with the 126 dollar deposit but when you put it in context with the 2 million dollar real estate property and other “self brags” that may not be real you open the door to get some shit. He should have just focused on the 126 dollar deposit, don’t need the other stories that may or may not be true

It looks like they are saying you requested to deposit BSV instead of BTC. They generated a BSV wallet address.

I don't self brag man it is what it is, I'm getting old now at 53, I'm a regular Joe for the most part and I know I can't take my money with me when I die. I'm not all that smart but I do value the dollar though and work hard at saving and investing it wisely.

I'm on half a dozen books as I said in an earlier post. I don't deposit more then $250 at any one time and in any one book ever. Sports gambling is a hobby for me and I never try to piss away money, that is how you survive in this game. I watch every dollar I spend. It's just being called financially responsible.

The last time I checked for sports gamblers that want to win and survive in this game - the goal is not to continue to pump money into the sportsbooks but to pump money out of them.

Well I just know I tried to deposit bitcoin (Normal) like I always do with Bovada and didn't do anything different. I even hit the 75% crypto bonus reload. They generated that bitcoin address and I copy and pasted it and sent it from my coinbase account. I don't know anything about BSV. I never even heard of that before this ordeal.

I just think I didn't do anything wrong or different and it's on Bovada. I don't care anymore. It's over and done with. What ever.. Next..

    Right on their deposit page

Please ensure you are ONLY sending Bitcoin (BTC) to the address provided below. Sending Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin SV (BSV), Litecoin (LTC), Tether (USDT ERC-20) or Ethereum (ETH) to this address will result in a loss of funds.

I'm not playing with Bovada so I'm not exactly sure how the deposit page looks. When you clicked deposit and picked a crypto, their claim is that you picked BSV.

I've made a lot of mistakes sending crypto to the wrong chain and even losing wallets. We all need to get burned a couple of times before checking and rechecking transfers. Security is the most important thing to worry about if holding large balances.

And? What's your point? He did send BTC. They're claiming he generated a BSV address so your post is irrelevant.

It can be retrieved by the wallet holder but it is a fairly involved procedure and takes a little time. That being said, Bovada has the resources to do this , especially the BSV knowledge. There isn’t anything you can do Jibby except what you’ve already done. This thread alone should’ve been enough for them to credit your $126.
