Why do I never hear anything about BetRivers?

I have to assume maybe it's available in fewer states or something like that, unless I'm missing something. If I am then please fill me in. They consistently offer the best lines. A few cents here and there mainly, but sometimes huge price differences on futures, always to the player's benefit. They pay me out just fine and offer some nice profit boosts with the occasional promo. Am I missing something? Anyone have any good or bad stories with them?

Only a $250 bonus and banned after going 2-0 on two pre-game Big Ten basketball bets. Won I think just $960 there.

No reload bonuses at 95% of these US books. Missing out on a lot of money.

There not like Shit Shit, but they have a lot of drawback.

The -112/-109 is a killer for me, given that I have like 8 or 9 books that are not that ( in NJ).

Their just not that exciting. Theres a lot of NJ books that aren't that exciting (Barstool, Unibet, Bet365, Betway ect.).

Maybe I'll check them out more if you say so. I'd probably rank them like 8th or 9th in NJ.

My only complaint is that make me jump through hoops to get a $20 bet approved at 7 in the morning.
Have 6 Illinois Books and they are the only one that do that.

As for lines, they are Kambi like a bunch of others. And also like other Kambi books, they allow joke limits for anyone with a pulse. If you bet a lot there and haven't been limited, look inward and work on your game.

I couldn't even get a bet approved. I left, but I recall trying to bet a Bulls game asking for $100 and they approved my wager for $0.89. lol Chicago's hometown sportsbook

They have the same exact lines as barstool.

One thing I hate about rivers is your loyalty points expire...like as in a month or 2 after you earn them...wtf is that? So I was at level 7 and now I'm down to level 6 just because I haven't played as much lately on there?? Its not like I let the acct sit dormant for 6 months. I still make bets a few times a week on there. Plus the app is buggy.

Barstool has way better (and more) promos plus it's mychoice points if any one uses those casinos..and even if you dont you can redeem points for merch. Same lines as rivers.

Can still get MyChoice points, but they ban winners from all other promos.

    And yes, both use Kambi.

If it wasn't for limiting, their live betting would be quite good. Generally a very very short delay and app works well, unlike Rivers. Still, limits are better than Rivers.

I have $80k of parlays pending with some futures, all of those needed approval but only took a few minutes. Not saying they're going to hit but I'm up about $600 on the site total and they haven't limited me or anything. I agree that the bonus points expiring is annoying but I've still gotten several $5 free bets with them, in additional to a handful of random $25 free bets that just appear in my account out of nowhere. If I happen to hit those parlays and they bone me then I'll let you guys know but it's honestly my book of choice right now. FD and DK have some annoying limitations that rub me the wrong way.

Been using betrivers a little more. Starting to like it, occasionally you find something off. Get 5 cents on an MLB total or something. Good book to have in the rotation.

Legal books have much better promotions with little to no rollover. The real downside is the juice and if you hit their many soft lines to get around it you'll likely get limited

I got to level 10 in their rewards program, mostly through casino play. This gives some monthly deposit matches and “bet to get promos”. It was quite a lot of play. I’m thinking close to a $1M coin in on blackjack or baccarat. As previously mentioned, the points expire on a rolling basis. It’s only about a 2 month period I think. I ran really bad and thought perhaps they would send some more offers and/or a host would offer stuff. So far nothing. Their rewards program says you get vip gifts and hotel stays and such. They haven’t sent me anything. Reminds me of Golden Nugget. Also promises a bunch of stuff that I never received or found no value in. At least they offer a weekly loss rebate and also you don’t need to requalify. Once you achieve VIP status it just stays.

I have found over the past year online bonuses have greatly dropped off. I think they are realizing that they don’t need to give bonuses. It’s so highly addicting that people will play anyways. I just think imagine if I went to the casino and played a million coin in. They would send tons of offers worth real value. But online they act like they give a lot but in reality they don’t.

It depends. Draftkings gave me a 50% cash up to $1000 with 1x roll a few days ago. Frankly, offshore was not that good either for me near the end.

Heritage - 3 cashouts in a row, no more bonuses
Bookmaker - No bonuses in close to 10 years
    Youwager - occasional 100% up to 500, with a 20x roll
Betonline family - Banned my state a long time ago
Wagerweb - 30% cash, probably the best one left, but I didnt have much time left there. In fact, have not gotten any promos from them in a while

Have gotten more out of the legal books as loyalty program:

Wynnbet - 60$ of free play a week for most weeks
Betmgm - 10$ of free play every week
Draftkings - Boosts and maybe a few hundred in crown redemption
Foxbet - small amounts of cash every week, maybe 2-3 dollars, it adds up though

It isn't a dramatic difference from offshore. Onshore, in my opinion, is slightly better.

Draftkings VIP was great once, now they give like a couple of 25% same-game parlay boosts.

BetMGM randomly gives 100% deposit matches up to $500 with 1x rollover. I haven't fully figured out the pattern but it seems to coincide with big losses?

Out of the big ones, the worst for promotions has got to be Fanduel. I've lost probably over 30,000 there and they wouldn't even respond to my email asking for VIP

You have figured MGM out cause me not figuring them out is confirmed by your suspicions that they are loss based. I was losing with them last year and they were sending me $5000 + $2500 bonus offers. Then when I got a little back they sent nothing. Then I lost and they started coming again. Then I got back to even and nothing since. My offers were not 1x playthrough though. They were significant like 15x slots and 100x tables or something like that. Yes FanDuel is one of the worst. I am down significantly and they hardly ever send anything. Literally nothing. When you lose they do randomly put bonus money in your account. It’s only when you lose but is generally around 10-15%.

Wouldn’t say it coincides with big losses as I’ve randomly gotten a few of those and I haven’t lost that much there. They did come though when I had a zero balance and they only give you a few days to claim.

Its early yet here in Ontario where BetRivers just launched but right now they are my personal fave of the legal books. I like that my withdrawals are approved instantly and I get my money in exactly 30 mins via interac e-transfer. Odds are good for live betting which is 90% of my action. I rarely bet before the game starts. Especially so if I want the favorite.

So far I'm sticking with BetRivers and Fanduel.

MGM you have to be patient with them. They will offer the $500 get $500 Cash 1x rollover with a big loss but sometimes they will throw another one out there if you wait and don’t deposit right away. They have me 2 $500’s and a $200. I think the key is having 2+ books and then trying to lose your deposit on mgm knowing they give the 100% cash bonus, lots of money to be made that way.

Yeah, it's Kambi, so of course they have easy numbers. Just that when you win they will limit you hard. If you haven't been limited, you haven't won much.

Move to NJ. There are like 20 books here. I have like 8 of them funded. Line shop all day.

Also, Unibet and betrivers both use Kambi. I thought Barstool did, but perhaps not.

not quite as good as a draftkings or fanduel, but they seem like a really good book. the app is a little sluggish and tough to navigate, but still solid overall. plenty of sports to wager on. i signed up on saturday and deposited a few hundred. i had to hit live chat up on monday morning for my bonus, because it didn't show within the 48 hours they say. took about 15 minutes, but the CS rep was nice and handled it for me.

ran the bonus up real quick to over 2k, requested a payout and verified my bank account via 3rd party around 10pm monday night. it said i was in the queue and the wait was about 3 days. they wound up approving it and sending it after midnight, wednesday morning. about 27 hours to process it. i had it in my bank account on thurday morning.

so.. joined saturday, requested payout on monday, processed wednesday, received on thursday. good enough for me and they'll be in my rotation of books.

Yes CALI will produce tons more volume than Vegas, but it will not be as good for the player that seeks to win.............unless they get CIRCA, then they would have a fighting chance.

Correct, Vegas is still the best onshore place to bet sports.

    Hands down.

Can avoid 99.9% of the issues with playability and getting down, especially if you have relationships.

A lot of cat and mouse onshore and quite a few sharp traders have been hitting these books with their own offers, including same game parlays.

US needs a nationwide sharp bookmaker.
