Fanduel is always cash. They don't do freeplay for any promos. I think the cash always has a 1x play through, that's it.

In Illinois, it's cash. Never a freeplay. Maybe it varies by state.

They call it site credit, but it's as good as cash.

In NJ the terms say the bonus credits are not withdrawable. It used to be cash in NJ too so this is a recent change.

it was always that way. They call is bonus credit, but I think its a 1x rollover and then its cash.

Legal sportsbook have been kind of disappointing about making bonuses clear. The CS also tends to get a little confused about why you are asking them to be more explicit about the terms. They don't know what us former offshore players have been through.

Finally won a free play last w/Twinspires!!

Lost Barstool Free Play this week, but the thing I liked is I bet $200 parlay to win $526 and the payout was $726 instead of just the winning wager of $526. So basically its like cash if you lose the first bet. Probably a rollover of some sort, but thats better then most of them with just the Free play that doesn't return the original bet amount

Wynn has a nice promo also. Bet up to $750 and they'll give you twice the amount in free bets (Up to $1500)

I lost that fkn bet too for $300 but they release (5) $120 free bets every 7 days. Lost the first free bet, but turned the 2nd one into $400 on a parlay and have 3 more $120 bets to go. Helluva deal

Site Credit for the sportsbook returns Winnings Only. You could be thinking Fantasy site credits.

One state had an offer where if you got a site credit as a risk free bet bonus, first time you bet the site credit it works like a freeplay, but if you bet that same amount again, you got to keep the site credit risk amount as cash as well (confused hell out of everyone and they dropped it fast)

Fanduel a confusing mess at the best of times.

Huh? No. It's cash. 1x rollover literally meaningless. I get little bonuses all the time. Next play you check the box to use bonus and thatis it. As good as cash.

Well now I am confused too then.

Maybe states differ. Been told more than once it pays out winnings only by people complaining that the wording was ambiguous.

This is copied from the fanduel NJ terms section, The Promotion Bonus is non-withdrawable but any winnings there from are immediately withdrawable.

Ive played on Fanduel in multiple states (IL/CO/AZ), I'm 99% sure it's the same everywhere because they don't have different apps for each state unlike Retrivers or Pointsbet.

Fanduel doesn't even have free play coded into their app. Everything they do is "bonus funds" which is basically as good as cash except that you can't withdraw it unless you play through it 1x.

Barstool is the same, no such thing as freeplay, it's all bonus cash with 1x play though.

I did it in NJ, and it was cash with a 1x. This was a couple of months ago. Maybe it changed. When you push a bet on fanduel, it says "you won" your original bet. Maybe thats the confusion.

In TN def cash 1x roll over. Only additional restriction is you can’t use bonus funds to take advantage of promos.

A friend of mine just did the intro offer in NJ and it was cash. Their terms are pretty confusing, when I did this I treated it as free play

Correct. MGM $1,000 risk free bet returns a free bet instead of site credit. FD is site credit.

Also, at MGM, if you sign up and then wait about 36 hours without depositing, they will sent you an email with a $500 deposit match bonus which can be stacked on top of the $1,000 risk free bet.

Am in NY as well. I took advantage of the FD NJ promo back in 2019. When introduced in NY, it appeared that they would honor another $1000 risk free wager but was not the case, even though the language on the promo is deceptive and they add it onto the promos of your account.
