William hill fraudulently withholding my withdrawal!!!!!!

A verified customer for 10 years, yet upon a very rare withdrawal, they request verification documents- which I have sent more than enough to prove my identity- a photo of myself and my passport; a photo of myself and my bank statement; a photo of myself and my username; a scanned and sent bank statement showing my deposits; a photo of myself and a utility bill. The automated customer service is shambles, moreover the live chat is pointless, there is no phone line thus it seems William hill like to hide behind the veil of COVID. Seven weeks on and they have stopped answering any emails and blocked my account. Ten loyal years. A disgrace. #williamhill #theoddsarestacked.

I wonder how the us market will change once sports books are regulated.

In other countries where sports books are now becoming 100% legal, the trend i see are shitty lines (about 5 cents off) but immediate, free, infinite bank withdrawals. The governments have forced sports books to do this. They argued (and they're right) that anything else puts the bettor at a disadvantage (duh) and the bettor has a right to bet and then withdrawal if he or she wants. Amen

I'll gladly pay 5 cents a bet for that...

Just this week I've had 6 withdrawals and no one gives a fuk Its my money dammit

Sorry to detail thread, hope you get your earnings...optional should help you out

Thanks for the well wishes everybody. I'll let you know how it goes. I really don't know how they can take deposits and not allow you to withdraw; hiding behind automated verification processes. I'd more than willing go to any shop and prove my identification In the flesh. It seems they have a blatant disregard for customers, genuineness and nobody seems to care. It really boils my blood.

Sorry to hear. They took my deposit and held it for 3 months because I “exceeded my limit” and then sent me a check. This was in Las Vegas of all places... they have really weird rules on everything. I fixed it by updating my limits to max.

Wm. Hill's customer service has always been extremely poor. On the other side they are the biggest book in Britain because they pay. They don't fraudulently withhold money. They are over-regulated by the UK government and they are heavily fined if they don't adhere to the KYC regulations put in place by the anti-gambling politicians in the UK. Do everything you can to provide the nonsensical identification requests and eventually you'll be paid. It's a pain, but they're not going to budge on this and it's it's something you're going to have to live with if you deal with UK regulated books.

    Hi semibluff,

The verification documents I have sent is substantial and I literally have no other form of id to send. They are automated bots of the other end which make verification impossible- at least for me. There are no other hoops I can jump through believe me I would try.
    Thank you

    Don't do it...its a slippery slope

Next they'll ask for a covid test & make you get a vaccine before they process a withdrawl.

I see it happen all the time

Such a disappointment, they could have had the run of the US market.

Biggest book with the lowest limits that there is. There is no one even close to their ratio.

There are multiple threads in the 'Sportsbooks & The Industry' section on this topic. Yours is not the 1st thread about Wm. Hill KYC issues. Sometimes people take images that aren't in high enough definition. Sometimes they hold the card/document/license so the item isn't 100% complete in the image. It might be worth your time to look for threads about KYC verification in that section and look for advice previously given by moderators.

"A verified customer for 10 years, yet upon a very rare withdrawal..." That says it all. First, you are a big loser, as is 95% of the fools in here. Why you bother to throw your money away gambling is beyond me. Guys in here have tried to pull off every scam in the book. You are no different. I noticed that you refused to answer the people who asked you which country you live in. Bottom line: If you use a foreign sports book, you are begging to get ripped off. You people never learn, yet you people always lose.

I didn't know that SBR did anything about William Hill sportsbook. It's not a sponser book here. The poster's location might be important. Wm Hill paid me overnight with no issues. But I don't use them any more.
