    INTERTOPS account suspended for almost TWO MONTHS!

    Hi everyone. On March 23rd I signed up for intertops as I saw they added a new live betting platform and decided to give it a shot. They had a lot of lines to offer and seemed to keep many of their odds up across all sports very late into games which I enjoy wagering on. For example, most sites will freeze the live hockey lines around 3-4 minutes, but they kept up each game until the 1 minute mark or so and would adjust odds based on goalie pulls all that. This was similar in other sports as well.


    For the first week or so I got killed, was probably down around 30k. In the second week I did much better and turned a profit. Of course intertops had no issues with my action when I was losing, but then on April 3rd I could not log into my account. On April 4th I received the following email:




    Dear xxx,
    Thank you for contacting us earlier regarding the status of your account!
    Upon reviewing your account, it was noticed, that several bets have been placed by you after the results were known. Thus, your account is currently under investigation and will remain close in the meantime.


    Should you require any further information or assistance, please feel free to contact us anytime.

    This is absolute nonsense. No bets were placed after the game ended. If they didn’t want odds up so late then they should suspend the odds earlier like most books do. I did nothing wrong when I was losing and then they pull this excuse? A couple weeks into the account being suspended they ask me to perform KYC and I sent everything requested right away. That was over a month ago. I have emailed them several times asking for an update and each time I get the same response that no update is available and I will be emailed when review complete. I was tempted to file this complaint a couple weeks into this but I figured I’d be patient instead of dealing with a whole public mess. But at this point, enough is enough. Thank you SBR in advance for anything you could do to help.

    Yea the plan would be to switch to a site that doesn't hold a customers money hostage to investigate their own shortcomings. There is no justified reason for a book to pull this and take this long. Review what you need to review but this is absurd.

    Have still heard absolutely nothing from intertops. Can SBR please look into this?

    This sounds like you knew odds were up late and may have acted on that.

    But I don't know that and am not accusing you of that. It just sounds like it.

    Instead of the thread, submit a complaint form to SBR and they will take a look...

    Its now been almost FOUR MONTHS without an update. Ive emailed intertops multiple times since and have gotten the same "still being reviewed" responses. Is this an acceptable industry practice?
