Heritage will get left in the dust if it doesn't accept other coins

Accepting only bitcoin in this environment is unacceptable given the high fees and long wait times for confirmation. Previously, Heritage would credit your account immediately once the bitcoin was on the blockchain but now they require a confirmation which will take forever even with high fees.

I've been with Heritage for over 10 years but sorry to say, they will get left in the dust if they don't start accepting other coins with better confirm times. Bitcoin is a dinosaur compared to some of the superior altcoins.

What books should do is reimbursement of miners fees 1x roll just like they use to with P2P

Heritage withdrawl options suck. It's the only reason I haven't deposited with them again.

Through the years, I've always liked Heritage for their low vig and perks but they are going to lose a lot of customers if they don't start accepting other coins.

Totally agree. I only use the low-fee alt currencies now like litecoin or bitcoincash. For me to deposit I have to pay to exchange to bitcoin, then pay a $30 transaction fee. I also to wait longer. The fees are going to crawl up and transaction times take longer over the next week with all those miners offline in China with coal mining explosions. Even with a bonus not worth it. Will also be cheaper for them to process withdraws. Win-win-win.

I've had an account with Heritage Sports since August, 2011, when they acquired their sister company, Bet Jamaica; whom I had an account with for several years prior to the Heritage Sports acquisition. Heritage has always been great to play at. I agree however, that they need to increase their funding options relevant to cryptocurrency. Customer service has declined over the years, however. Betting option remain stellar as compared to most other sportsbooks.

Agreed. You nailed it. High fees and slow confirmations. A lot of exchanges require 3 or 4 confirmations when receiving BTC before you can sell. I've had some 1% losses on payouts.

Pharaoh: I'm with you on Litecoin, it's great for gambling. Pennies in fees and confirms in less than a minute. I had to leave Heritage and play strictly at Bookmaker due to this option.

Raider: I was in the same boat. I had an account at BetJamaica in 2010 and they automatically transferred it to Heritage after the acquisition. Heritage has been awesome as far as options and live betting is probably the best of all the well known CR books but this bitcoin only option has become unbearable. I applaud Bookmaker for forecasting this and they are years ahead of the game versus Heritage. I also have accounts at some of the crypto only books such as Nitro and Stake however their live betting sucks.

The best coin for gambling imo is Stellar. Fraction of a penny in fees and confirms in less than 5 seconds. I would hope some of the top books are looking at this coin as a viable option.

I love Heritage ++ but books like them that are geared a bit more to the recreational guys like they are the ones that will lose lots of business to state side books

Stake live betting sucks? Not my experience at all. They have hundreds of markets live, in play team totals etc.

Heritage was left in the dust years ago. Software is painful to use.

Yeah it's weird because the main thing about bitcoin was supposed to be low fees and anonymity. Now it's cheaper to send the old fashioned way with the money transfer places. Its also quicker too. And there is nothing anonymous with bitcoin when they want 13 forms of I.d and 27 different selfies just to be able to sign up with an exchange. Regular banks are more anonymous than bitcoin.

If BTC mining fees and deposit does not improve, these sportsbooks better take other coins.

They need multiple coins and some fair system of fee reimbursement.

Obviously the fees to send BTC have become significant. Then you have to sweat out confirmation time in a down market, because some Books (Heritage included) credit your account with the value at 1st confirmation (not send time). I've lost 2-3% of my deposit a few times waiting hours for a confirmation--this on top of a fee to send them the funds. I would like to see fees reimbursed too, and the value at send time honored--not confirmation time. The Greek used to advertise "Sweat the game not the payout". Now I'm sweating my deposit too.

Used to be my top book.

Reasons others have mentioned, as well as horrible auto/futures/fighting/golf odds and limits, and I haven’t deposited there in at least a year.

I agree. I feel the same for any book that only accepts bitcoin.
