I honestly just skimmed but sounds like someone had access to your account. And maybe a bunch of other accounts through some hacking. Logs into all of then Was monitoring all the accounts looking for a withdraw if they had decent balances. When sees it. Cancels it. Creates another one. Emails you And tricked people into providing FA code via email. It’s not even that complicated of a scheme. A bored 12 year old can do this. People can spoof numbers when they text. And that email was a terrible spoof job and you fell for it. Definitely not very bright to provide FA account over email but this shows multiple security weaknesses at mybookie. They should pay you. MAybe charge a fee for 10% for you being a dumbass.

I did take out emails addresses and other important information in the above posts. ALL original emails were forwarded to SBR staff months ago
For those that have been following the MYBOOKIE posts from other members, this is me just providing info that my case is identical.

    Thanks
This can ALL be explained by my post
above. Dude had control of your account. He initiated the cancelation after you withdraw request then sent you email pretending to be Alex. He then logged into your account and initiated a deposit to his Bitcoin address. Then tricked you via email into giving him the FA code that he needed to confirm the withdrawal to his Bitcoin address. . The email address is obvious not one of mybookie based on your screenshot.

My bookie knows what happened but won’t admit because it shows security weakness on their end. But at same pissed at you for being so dumb to email your code so they don’t want to pay you.

They should pay out a percentage of your payout because you were both at fault.

    Case closed

March 14 guy from Uzbekistan tries to do something with your account and the account gets flagged because it’s not ip of your country. . Then you went in and validated account. So they let him go in next day and initiate cancellation.

Requested $2k payout Wednesday morning received it Thursday afternoon/evening (not sure which). Thank you for your posts though - just to be safe I went in Wednesday and had them confirm the crypto address to which they were sending the funds. Better safe than sorry.

This must be mybookie’s best scam yet, they seem to get more and more support from posters with each scam. Let’s see , we have the 50/50 rule, good ole Butch, the casino glitch scam, and now the hacker scam. Give me a F’ing break, it’s been established mybookie will do anything and everything to cause confusion and not pay players. If there actually was a hacker and he’s monitoring 12 mybookie accounts for withdrawals at the same time, the only logical conclusion is the hacker is a mybookie employee. The best part is they convince the player it’s their own fault and get sympathy from SBR posters. Out of the six or seven posters that had the EXACT same hacker issue, how many other players didn’t say anything and just ate it? Probably 30. I can’t say it enough MYBOOKIE=SCAM, anyone defending them is delusional.

So you do agree it's possible - that there's at least one way it could have happened, right? And since MyBookie had a TON of similar payout issues around this time, doesn't that make this even more likely?

What I do know for sure is that the email in your screenshot is not from MyBookie and you were phished for a 2FA code. I find it astonishing that you cannot see that. It's the most obvious part of the whole scheme.
I disagree on the fact that you think MYBOOKIE had nothing to do with this.
Their track record, which i didnt know about when i signed up, says that they easily could have something to do with this.

Is it possible that they had nothing to do with this, sure.
But logically speaking in my eyes, probably more likely then not that they had something to do with this.

We are both entitled to our opinions.

Think about how many people dont know about SBR. Probably in the thousands for people who have dealt with this same issue. Im actually shocked at the community for defending them as well. I think its way more likely they had something to do with this than not.

Right. This is exact scam I explained upthread. Glad you see it too.

You guys might have been right...if it weren't for the fact that MyBookie compensated other impacted players. That would be really dumb if they were intending to rip people off all along.

Look, I'm one of the biggest MyCrookie detractors on here. But if it walks and talks like a duck, then it's probably a duck...or in this case a hacking / scam. It could have been an inside job, in part or in whole, but that's different from saying it was perpetrated by MyBookie.

So you think mybookie paid the hacker and then to be nice they decided to pay the players too?
Hell no, they probably pulled this scam on 100+ victims and only a handful of them came to SBR. They pay the SBR members to make it look good while stiffing the other 90+.
There is no way in hell mybookie is accidentally paying a scam artist and paying the scammed player, ie double paying. It’s hard enough to get them to pay once.
This scam isn’t new, a very well respected book here at SBR had the same exact thing going on for a long time, they wrote it off as a rogue employee, which was smart.

I was only clarifying what happened here. The email you replied to with the 2FA code was a scammer. It almost certainly was NOT MyBookie. You were duped. It happens...a lot. That's why they do it.
Hello all. I'm new to this site but I'm not new to sports gambling and I was researching mybookie before I requested a payout from them. Yes I should have done it before I opened up an account but anyways.
One thing I noticed is that their site does not log you out. Ever. All my other offshore accounts log me out after a period of time. I'm not sure if this information helps or not.

    Update

I was notified over the weekend that SBR staff had done all they could for my case and MYBOOKIE still refuses to budge. So many similar cases were paid back, before and after my cashout date, but they just refuse to take any blame for mine. I thank the SBR staff for all their help.

I know so many members had identical cases and am looking for the community for any help.
If anyone has any contact at Mybookie i would greatly appreciate it

    UPDATE--penetrate YEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Mybookie made things right after 7 months and refunded the entire 5k.
All it took was 1 or 2 good reps to see my case for what it was, one day later refunded.

    Stay persistent
