Intertops should not be A rated

Their platform sucks. Their limits are lower than any other A rated book. These two issues are not that big a deal. But slow paying is.

Jan 29th - I requested a payout for $1,600 and was told I needed to be verified.
Jan 29th - I sent a pic of ID and utility bill
Feb 6th - They respond saying they need a selfie. I send it immediately.
Feb 13th - They responding saying my selfie isn't good enough. I was verified at 3 other sportsbooks and a government agency with the exact same selfie. But it wasn't good enough for Intertops. So I send another one.
Feb 20th - They respond again saying my selfie isn't good enough. I send four more selfies.
Feb 28th - They approve my selfie. I request payout.
Mar 2nd - They question me about my logins. I explain I travel for work.
    Mar 3rd - I finally get paid.

It took them 34 days to pay me $1,600. And it was a huge hassle. Any other A rated book would have paid me within 24 hours (except youwager). I would have been paid faster by any B or C rated book too.
They need to be downgraded. The A rating SBR gives them is not accurate.

an A book stalling cause they cannot pay $1600 should knock them down. that is pretty sad.

i got bored with their platform and line options and have not deposited there in over 2 years. after your story, i plan to keep it that way.

If they had just paid me I would have kept depositing there. Crazy to me they would slow pay me over $1,600. I can request 20k from BOL and I get it in 5 minutes.

Intertops issues with slow payouts are well documented throughout the forum for years. I have no idea why anyone bothers playing there at all.

They keep playing there because SBR has them A rated. For the most part SBR's ratings are pretty accurate. But this one is way off.

    exactly

an A book should not have slow payouts on any reasonable dollar amount

Way back in the first days of the internet, Intertops was my first book. They would send me a check that I had within 1 week in my hands. When Neteller came along, they paid within an hour. No selfies, No utility bill. No nothing. But all this changed with the KYC. I'm so happy to be finished with all of the offshores.

    Similar issue:

    - Requested 1200€ payout through Neteller.
    - 3 days later they request a new ID pic because the one they have on file (and I've had numerous payouts before) is "not of sufficient quality". I immediately sent new pics.
    - A few days later they approve the pics and say the payout will got to their finance department
    - several days later they claim Neteller no longer supports my jurisdiction
    - I request a new payout through BTC
    - A few days later they request a selfie with my ID
    - Another day later the selfie is approved
    - Today, 2 days later the payout is approved and sent.

All in all a hassle that could have been handled in a day or 2 and should not have taken 2.5 weeks. It smells like delay tactics to me.

You are right overall. I do think and may live to eat my words. Intertops is one of the more honest places out there and when/if they go down...... IT'S OVER in the offshore world. (Small Conservative Mom and Pop type shops, from my reading over the years)..Not to say they wouldn't delay, But I don't think they are pure crooks.

They also, only take $150 max on NCAAB and $500 max on NBA for me. Those limits seem super low for day of.

They've only been working on their live betting client for 2 years.
I ask about on occasion in live chat and they swear it's on the way.

Refreshing (not really don't take it the wrong way Ace) to get a true, coherent sportsbook issue from an established SBR (Pro) member. Something that helps all of us. I don't want crappy books floating around anywhere and I don't want an SBR brother to have to go through the meat grinder. Just nice to see it put out by a reliable source.

Used to be my favorite book for years since literally 1997. Haven't got with the times, they had a guy reach out to me once for a small bonus and that's about it... barely play there... Last I remember checking they were trying to revamp their live betting for like a year.

They are the last book that stole money from me........I made a big thread about it here and at other forums severals years ago. 4 ish years ago

    The cliff notes:

Over the years I deposited multiple times to play their casino as I truly loved their software and felt the games played more than fair. Fathers day rolled around and they sent me a sweet fathers day casino bonus. I deposit and proceed to run it up to 2.5k. I easily smash the rollover and request a withdraw. They email me back saying I violated the terms of the bonus. Sure enough buried in their rules in the finest of prints was the ole get out of jail free card that they planted there for moments just like this. When using the casino bonus chips the MAX per hand is $10 (per their fine print rules), but yet their software let you bet $25 a hand which is what I was betting not knowing about the buried fine print. Does that sound like an A book? I tipped my cap as they got me....bush league by a supposed industry leader for which I had dumped thousands to prior.

Well that's good. Saying $10 max bet in their fine print and then allowing $25 bets is pretty shady. Wonder how many people they've pulled that shit on.

Yeah I'm sure a good number.......just stupid short sighted business model. If you are gonna bury a get out of jail free card in fine print you'd think you would be more selective when using it. (use it if a guy hits a 100k jackpot etc) I was a long time BIG loser there who authentically liked using their casino. I would of given that money back many times over and also not spent nearly 3 years bringing this thievery to life every chance I get.

All of these established sports books are like printing presses. They're making millions. There's no reason they need to be cheap and shady. The top books just don't do stuff like that.
Also, if you are a sportsbook the last customer you want to lose is a casino gambler. Very stupid move by Intertops. They lost money and got bad press.

100% and continue to get bad press from me.........and I was strictly a casino player with them at this time as they limited me years ago to the point where I didn't even bother opening up their book anymore.

They closed down my account after I took advantage of their 100% matching bitcoin deposit bonus for the first time a few years ago. I just hedged the amount off to meet the 5x rollover. They didn't like that lol.

Hedged it within Intertops or hedged it against another book?

I think it’s common knowledge that they are barely a “C” rated. You couldn’t get anymore than a handful of posters here to agree they are an “a”. Except maybe JJ. They pay well for advertisements

SBR is awesome and a very valuable watchdog tool for gamblers. But taking payment for a rating is not good. Intertops needs to be downgraded. I don't care how much they pay.

Absolutely brutal move by Intertops. They were my first ever online book back in '96 and I always said I'd eventually get back to them, but that ship has now officially sailed. All this BS for $1600? Pathetic...Thanks for the heads up Ace...

Yes, and now they are even able to stall their payouts even longer by waiting three days to just to send a "Did you really request a payout" security email. Then waiting more days after that. No reason for those huge waits in today's market. They should try to stay competitive with BO and whatever sportsbook your state will have soon.

Same. 1997. They used to round off payouts to the nearest whole dollar. So you could risk $11.56 to win $11.00 and get -105 instead of -110. Good times.

Mine too. Island Casino and Intertops back in 1997. Different world back then.

They sure muck people around to get paid more than other reputable books these days.

But are there any Intertops current users in this thread that already did not know that before depositing last time?

Seriously, it's niche group who play there and I suspect every one of them has their reason for doing so. And know about the withdraw process.

If you can't see a reason for playing there, don't worry about it. Sharps are not going to explain for you. Just move on.

The A rating is well justified in my personal opinion.

Any real user there think that there is ANY risk of them not paying you?

    No, didn't think so.

Opti, I've inquired several times before, when is the next Posters Feedback of the top sportsbooks? We're way overdue for that.
