Which Online book will take the biggest bets?

I don't have an account with them, but I saw William Hill (when they ran the Dover Del book), take 5k. They no longer run the book in Delaware..Well that's beside the point, my guess is that William Hill may take the biggest online bets as compared to FD and DK.. But that's a guess.

I would say it depends a lot on:
    - state
    - event type
    - time of wager
    - profile of player

I don't think there's any one single answer. DK and FD do generally accept pretty substantial wagers.

Depending on the event you're referring to, 5k is not that impressive or surprising.

If you keep making limit bets that go to traders, they will adjust your limit up if they think you are not a danger to them.

The big guys will probably take million dollar bets once you have a track record.

If you keep making limit bets, you are definitely either a danger to them or a danger to yourself. One or the other and the books should have a pretty easy time figuring out which one it is.

Bovada will keep raising your limits as long as you keep losing.

Draftkings, fanduel, etc will allow limit fast. They're being operated by european traders which is to limit/boot winners ASAP. Of course when you're new or a losing player they'll take any amount.

As I said before, it depends how you define "limit". Suppose their normal limit on an event is $50,000, but you can only bet $25,000. I suppose you've been "limited". But that doesn't mean the book is worthless by any means. Of course if they reduce limit from $50,000 to $5, then that's another story. And boot is another thing altogether. I haven't personally heard of anyone booted, unless they're violating rules.

While they will reduce limits to some extent, I don't believe that DK/FD are completely driving away winners, at least not yet. Probably because they want the volume to brag about and their revenue is an afterthought at this point.

Arbers get tossed everywhere quick because they are not gamblers

"Arbers" does that mean middlers? Betting both sides of an event with no way to lose, because the line changed .

Not just middling. Thatís just part of it. My understanding is They take advantages of bonuses and advantageous odds. So if like betonline has +105 on team a and bovada had +105 on team b then they can bet both sides. In reality they donít even need to have it that good if they have bonuses too the edge they need is smaller. I donít know why Sportsbook have an issue with them. They are basically taking the offer the book is ASKING for action on. All these books know what the lines are at other places. If they are putting a nice number out there they saying they want the action.

Yes, but the thing is most "arbers" don't bet both sides at the same book; they cover at a different shop. In reality, there is no way a book can differentiate between arbers and line shoppers. Real (most) books don't just "toss" line shoppers.

And it's not only if a line has changed. Books may have simultaneous difference between each other that either guarantee a profit or provide a good opportunity to try to win both bets at a minimal cost.

Over the years, I have read several posts, where a players wager was cancelled... Why? They said "Bad Line". These were at offshore places and it never happened to me.. I wonder if we'll see this at a US book. Kinda Doubt it!

Wow, I didn't know ..They paid the bet right. I suppose it is on the rare side. But that's the kind of thing that this website is good for alerting players about.
