I loaded up on this match, better not get screwed grading wise. Had it at Barstool and DraftKings. Any1 know what happened. Also have a 2 huge parlays with it also

Ball lightly hit ball kid and she cried a whole river for 15min tournament ref talked to her and she cried even more then disqualified kato/sut

Apparently it was warning but bouz/tormo demanded Kato get disqualified or they weren't playing anymore or tournament officials getting hammered by media and blaming it on them

Seeing the full clip again, it brushed the shoulder of ball kid and she cried so much, tournament ref idiot didn't bother see footage but interrogate Kato and took word of ball kid who explained it was like flash back of PTSD of war veterans getting attacked by trees and also disgusting behaviour from bazooka/tormo who kept demanding disqualification when they also didn't see what happened as incident came out of nothing but they were reliving PTSD symptoms even though they didn't see what happened, pretty much everyone thought ball kid crying non stop so it must of been Rafa on steroids hitting ball kids face

DraftKings word for word when you go to place the wager.
If the first set is not completed, all bets placed on the Moneyline will be Voided. However, if the first set is successfully completed but the match does not reach its natural conclusion, the player or team that advances to the next round or is officially declared the winner will be recognized as the Victor for the purpose of settling bets. Bets placed on the retiring/disqualified player or pairing will be voided. Please chime in. I have way to much on this to let is go. In all my parlays also which is down to the last leg tomorrow.

I've also seen fed slice a ball after a point is over and it hit a ball kid with no pace who saw it late and couldn't catch it, wander if he would of been disqualified if it was today, hopefully this becomes big news so there are proper rules because i don't want this happening in a big singles grand slam semi/final

Read the rules of your book. Most books require the match to be completed.

Bets will be void in the event the statutory number of sets is changed. In the event a match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all bets will be void.

Edit: draft kings voids all money line retirements and dqs, regardless how many sets or games have been played. Below is why the match ended. I play on dk all the time and have been voided many times, good and bad.

Fanduel will void as well however they have a generous policy if voiding the loser and paying the winner as long as its atp or wta and not challenger itf or utr

If you're betting tennis, you have to be aware of how your bookie is going to treat dqs/retirements

You're setting yourself up to get screwed if you don't know the rules

ESPECIALLY if you're doing arbitrage

(Although it can work to your benefit too obviously)

Set was completed, obv match didn’t reach its natural conclusion so as per their rules for the purpose of settling bets it’s a WINNER.

What doesn’t make sense to me as I interpret it is DraftKings is paying out Winning bets and Voiding the losing bets. They’re getting free rolled and I know they are not that generous.

I think your problem will be that the General Rules will supersede anything said as a sub section after them.

But I do agree that the "specific market rules" for Moneyline bets do appear to contradict them.

They cut away before the main chaos started. There was a lot more to it that the cameras did not catch because there was too much death. The kid got hit with the ball and she started crying. The 3rd crying wail was the worst . Because somehow its tone opened up a rift in time. Several creatures that looked like a cross between Stegosaurus and Tim the homeless guy that lives down the street from me came pouring out. They started eating people while asking for money . There was a lot of blood. God bless America.

Something must have changed because every tennis ml bet I've ever made at DK with a retirement regardless when it happened got voided. Maybe its a doubles thing? Or maybe its like fanduel and with grandslam events they pay the winner and void the loser?

Yeah they usually stick to the posted rules. With this precedent set now don't hesitate if this happens to you in the future to contact them as all it takes is a quick call to fix it. However, if you had the loser and they voided it I wouldn't call them to change.

They recently changed them to the same as FanDuel, if your player wins due to retirement after a set you win still but if yours is the one who retires you get refunded. I’ve only noticed this since the start of the French open.

Ok just got an email today stating they have recently changed the rules. I know for a fact every ml retirement was 100% voided. The email I received today is stating they are trying to be like fanduel now:

The tennis walkover rule is now in effect on ATP events and majors only. If there is a retirement/disqualification and the first set is completed, the player or team that advances to the next round will be deemed winner for settlement purposes. Bets placed on the eliminated player or pairing will be voided. In all other instances where a match does not reach its natural conclusion, bets will be voided. ATP events and majors only.
