    I've just been done dirty by BetDSI. I need to take a shower.

    First, let's look at the only terms for this promotion which have anything to do with eligibility.
    5. Customer must opt-in to be eligible for promotion.
    6. We reserve the right to end eligibility of this promotion at any time. Anyone that has opted-in prior to the end of the promotion and has not taken a withdrawal during the promotional period will remain eligible to receive the Boost Bonus upon season restart.
    I opted in to this program near the end of April as instructed and was given confirmation that I was signed up. I've been patiently waiting and contacting their customer support over the past week and a half, ever since MLB started again. This last time they finally told me that I am ineligible to receive the bonus because I have been deemed non-recreational.

    Excuse me? Wouldn't the time to tell me that have been back in April, when you used this promotion to convince me to keep my money with you for THREE MONTHS? In fact, wasn't that the entire purpose of this promotion? So you get me to keep my money deposited in your book and you keep my bonus too! I hold up my end of the agreement and you cheat your way out of yours!

    Mind you, they've never even hinted at the fact that I might be considered non recreational before, so there was no way for me to know. Not that it even matters, since their terms and conditions make it quite clear that I meet their eligibility requirements for this bonus.

    They now refuse to escalate the issue for me as they say upper management has already made it's decision

    I've often read on here about how BetDSI is shady with their bonus programs. Now I know first hand. I should have listened to those complaints and just put my money into BetOnline or Heritage for their boost.

    Damn. This does not bode well for my situation. I haven't been paid my bonus yet either, and every time I contact them they tell me to check back tomorrow.

    @Optional - In the BOL 20% thread, you said you'd see what you could find out about missing bonuses. Wondering if DSI has shared anything with you.

    I wrote to DSI on the weekend, have not heard back as yet but assuming I will today or soon.

    BOL fixed that missing one for Alfa1234 within an hour or so btw.

    Yeah I saw that. Different book tho. We haven’t seen anyone get this sort of response from BOL so I’ll definitely concerned. I’ll try to contact them again today or tomorrow after work.

    So I contacted BetDSI today. After repeatedly telling me to check back for the status of my bonus, today they confirmed that they are doing the same thing to me as they've done with OP here. They are retroactively deciding that I am ineligible for this promotion!!! What nerve! We had an agreement. I had to contact THEM to request opt in. They reviewed my account and opted me in themselves. Then after I held up my and of the bargain, they decide that they don't want to honor their commitment?

    This is insane. Like, I can't even believe my own ears. This has to be a joke, right?

    They ripped me off a $500 free play a couple of years ago after I deposited $500 and lost the deposit. Before I could bet the freeplay they removed it claiming my account was plus money. Never played there again. This behaviour from them doesn't surprise me at all.

    I have to admit, I'm a little afraid of retaliation if I complain. Haven't there been a lot of bad stories of BetDSI doing things like reducing player limits to make it difficult to complete rollovers?

    They are 100% in the wrong here, but what's stopping them from granting me the bonus in response to an SBR inquiry and then taking action against my account? I would never dream of such nonsense with a place like BOL or Bookmaker, but I'm not as familiar with these guys.

    Is my concern misguided?

    The DSI manager I deal with seems pretty reasonable and I am not aware of anyone who had a complaint I handled being punished later. If you are just arguing your case and not doing your best to smear the book as well, I think you are safe with just about all books that talk to SBR really.
