Weirdest Sportsbook behavior you have experienced?

A short time ago i experienced the strangest behavior I have ever experienced from a sports book. It's a bit of a long story, and I will keep the name of the sportsbook secret as i am still a customer there, it is an A plus book, and the matter was eventually resolved successfully.

On May 17, 2018 I deposited two deposits of $1000 by credit card at a well known sportsbook. During that period of time there was a number of fraudulent transactions made on that card (not by me), and I was eventually notified by my bank. I told the bank which transactions were fraudulent, which did not include the ones at the sportsbook. Several weeks later I saw that my account at said sportsbook was negative 2000. I contacted them to find out why, and they said there were chargebacks from the card. I contacted the bank and determined which charges were cancelled and found the ones at the book were included by mistake. I told the bank again they were valid and they said they would reinstate them. The next month the charges were back on my credit card and I paid them. After a couple of weeks I found my balance at the book had been retuned to zero. I contacted the sportsbook again and was told the charges were reinstated and everything was Ok. I could resume gambling.

    All seems normal right.. Then...
On May 19,2020, after two years of depositing over 10 times, withdrawing 7 times by bitcoin for a total of over $10,000, and wagering in excess of $200,000, I requested a withdrawal of $500 by bitcoin.

I was told by email my account was short $2000 because of chargebacks, and withdrawals could not be made until this was resolved.
I emailed customer service a couple of times with no success. I finally contacted CS by phone and was told was nothing they could do. After finally telling the agent I was going to post on SBR and other sites my experience, I was passed on to a supervisor, who finally said they would give me the $2000 I supposedly owed them as a gift, and processed the payout.
Finally worked out O.K., but has done nothing to change my view that eventually we will all lose some money at these books that was not just lost by gambling.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Things get complicated because I think the foreign (Chinese) card processors lie to the books and try to pull tricks all the time. Thank god for Bitcoin.

    That's definitely a weird one.
One time I was on chat with Galaxy and they gave me the info for my Bookmaker account. That family of books might as well all be the same book. Still a big fan though.

Yeah, strictly bitcoin or Interac E-transfer for me now. E-transfer almost too convenient can transfer directly from bank account.

really weird for 2 years later for that to pop up. seems like someone saw previous notes and made a rash judgment. are you able to still deposit by credit card at that book?

Credit Card has been removed as an option. Since it was almost two years to the day later i figured it was some kind of audit that flagged it.
