A Quick Question RE: Heritage and Wagerweb

My understanding is these sites are owned by different ownership groups who don't mind players having accounts at both books, but could some kind soul confirm that for me?

Thanks VERY much! (I tried searching for this answer for about 15 mins before posting this, but I must suck at picking search terms cuz I couldn't pull up the right thread.)

    love it

good lines, nice interface, good options on lines

1 percent back each week as a fp on all your action each week (based on bet payout amount or win amount) - have to choose this option as opposed to a big bonus

It's basically a clone of Heritage, but without an option for -105 lines (a sizeable drawback, IMHO.)

On the other hand, they do offer solid bonuses, for example a 100% cash bonus up to $500 via Spooky's daily email yesterday (15 times r/o) and, I've learned on this thread they don't mind if you've got accounts at both places, which can help if your bet limits are slashed at Heritage.

Oh, I also wasn't aware of the good point Pologq made above RE: the 1% fp per week. Interesting promo; don't think I've seen that one anywhere else.

Don’t like that 15x roll seems steep.

    Better than bookmaker 30x however.

    not 15x

the elite is 8 x if you want 10 percent cash or 15 percent fp and then the automatic 1 percent cash back each week

I looked at it, I'm thinking about funding once (or if) baseball starts up again.
I like the one free payout per month they offer.
Kind of slow on the paper check delivery though.

They've been around for ever, that's a plus.

They also use the exact same customer service people. Kinda strange.

Never had a problem at either with quick payouts.

I've been with them since the early 2000's. They used to be betcbs but changed to wagerweb in 2004. Never had any issues getting paid. Solid book.

Any idea how these can be two different books and use the same customer service and wagering staff, including supervisors??

I was trying to get a larger bet placed than the low limits they had, usually no problem, but after getting hassled by one wagering supervisor at Heritage who barely budged on the matter during a phone call that took 45 minutes when it should have taken 5.

I called WagerWeb with the same request and got the exact same CS and wagering folks answering the phone.

In that case I am sure they are sister books.

Same thing in Betphoenix and Betmania. They are sister books and when I call its same customer service people.

Hack even once after logging in Betphoenix I logged in Betmania right away and it showed my Betphoenix balance in Betmania account lol

I’m sure you’re right. Most will say if the other is a sister book, but they always deny one has anything to do with the other.

I can call heritage and they identify themselves, and talked to Wagerweb five minutes later to a person I know is the the same woman and they deny WW has anything to do with Heritage. Just seems a little strange.

they are affiliated, even using the same platform. kind of weird to deny.

it is like when you contact bookmaker customer service and then get the same person thru chat on galaxy sports

Many many books used a shared service center and admin staff but have a different ownership structures.

    Search for "white label sportsbook".

It's far far more common than any book that just uses their own staff and technology with no sharing.

Third party administrator exist for books for customer service, lines, software, live lines, etc.

not uncommon to have the same customer service and same trading platform among different books.

It’s been like this since the dawn of the industry. I worked in customer service client acquisition for a handful of books, all of their customers calling the same phone. We were founders of those books.

Then we just answered “sports book” and then asked the customer which website they were affiliated with LOL, then looked them up in the computer.

We sold that operation off to an offshore book, they offered for me to move to the island to work it, but I stayed in Los Angeles.

...Running all of that out of Los Angeles was against the law and there was heat back then.

Had to dump it all to guys Offshore or risk legal trouble.

Back then we had multiple different names to answer the phones with, and we always denied any book was affiliated with the same customer service.

Lol. I remember working for a shady charity cold call center in college. We would always use different fake names we changed a lot.

Place was crazy. We’d get an extra $50 bonus if they paid in cash because the boss would send the driver to pick it up and he’d pocket it himself off the books. The days before the no-call list and caller ID were crazy. Made damn near $30k there part time a couple of years.

I do believe Heritage and WagerWeb are different owners due to clues in my past interactions with both. Also, their promotional offerings are different.

There are some sister books which deny affiliation with each other and I 100% do not believe them, but this isn't one of them.
