What are books doing about regular season NHL futures?

anyone heard anything from any books yet on how they intend to grade them? what are your expectations?

I would assume since it's shortened all will be graded as a push and refunded. At least... That's what they should do.

But you are right I haven't seen any official guidance

At Bet 365 I won Vegas, St. Louis, Boston & Washington for division winners.

"As a gesture of goodwill and contrary to our rules" Philly, Pittsburgh, Colorado & Edmonton were settled as void.

    All other teams were losers.

Paddy Power and Intertops are still pending.

Intertops not paying out the division winners as they stood is a joke. If you do not want to refund the 2nd place finishers that is totally fine but how can you not pay out the division winners? There was nothing in the rules. Shady imo. Any way I can file a complaint?

I don’t see how books can officially pay out on divisional winners. And those that do will be paying out on the leaders as a goodwill gesture. They must also refund all other teams, therefore cannot win. The golden industry rule is if you ‘can’t win’ you ‘can’t lose’. Unless divisional winners are officially announced all bets should be void. I’ve had guaranteed losers refunded, which worked out good for me, although this would be hard luck for anyone who backed Boston. There will always be winners and losers in such extreme circumstances.

has anyone had any division props refunded from 5d. They told me they keep telling me that knights were the division winners and will
not refund my ticket which I bet on knights to win division -no.

anyone with any divisional futures at 5d could you please let me know how they were graded.

here are 5 dimes rules ... they followed them correctly... betonline should be cancelling all division winners (they said 77 games minimum) but haven't done so yet

"All future wagers are graded once officially declared and listed in the corresponding governing body's website."

Is that the best link you have that division winners were declared in the NHL? It doesnt really say that besides the headline, and I dont think its an official site either.

so back to my original questions...

intertops tells me that nhl has not made an official declaration therefore all bets were refunded (they did say that if there was an official declaration of division winners the bets would be regraded). They say there have been no official division winners announced by the NHL.

5dimes tells me to visit the nhl.com/divisions and look at the standings on their website and they say the division winners were officially announced. So why aren’t the division winners on the standings page marked with an “x,y, or z”. To note thst they officially won the division.

so one book is saying official division were announced by the nhl.... the other is saying there have been no official announcement... both citing the NHL.

does anyone have anywhere that they have heard an official announcement awarding division winners? If so could you please direct me towards the announcement. Thanks guys

As far as I know, there has been no official announcement. The season is officially over & some other regular season awards were declared, individual teams have declared themselves division winners, but no specific statement by the NHL.

So Intertops said they will regrade? That's good news.

Seems to me that Intertops' original ruling was correct and 5Dimes' wrong. Great development for Intertops winners! Sucks for 5Dimes losers.

Optional! Are you saying they will now be regrading bets like the knights to win the division? And blues to win the division and those now will be winners at intertops?!?

If so awesome work guys thanks so much. Great of intertops if that is the case. Will save a lot of customers for the future imo

Any thought on betonline not grading nhl division bets? Their rules appear pretty unambiguous. (until they took them down after season)

a couple weeks later and betonline still hasn't graded nhl or nba division bets

those absolutely have to be cancelled based on the rules posted at the time the wagers were all made
