    International wire Deposits

Hey guys.I'm just wondering if anyone has made any international wire deposits from Canada into their sportsbooks and if so, did you have any difficulty doing it? I remember a year ago I tried to deposit via a bank transfer at my bank to get a 20% bonus offer at WSEX and the people at the bank had no idea how to do a wire transaction at all so I just said forget about it and continued depositing via cheque and credit card to the books. The time has come again though where I need to make a deposit and was thinking that maybe bankwires are the best way to go about doing this so just wondering if you guys have had any problems doing one

bankwires are a big hassle, i tried it once and the bank didn't even know their own swift code, but just keep trying until you find someone in the bank who knows how to do it, usually it is one person in the branch, but it is certainly the most efficient way for large amounts, checks are usally held for 14 days, min

WSEX take Moneybookers .... the most efficient way of depositing and withdrawing from books if you are able to use them

stacocakes - "...the people at the bank had no idea how to do a wire transaction..."

the speculator - "i tried it once and the bank didn't even know their own swift code..."

I've sent lots of them from my bank in the US, and didn't have the problems you guys have had. My bank also doesn't charge for sending them.

As the speculator says, there should be someone in each branch who is experienced in doing this (not a teller).
    Shouldn't be a hassle.

Well the wire was done today and it wasn't that smooth. Every site gives you a printout of the information you have to give to the bank but my bank wanted to also know the address of the the gambling site as well so I had to call and get that. Was a pain.
Then I was informed that the wire will take 3-5 business days to get there but it will take at least 2 business days just to see if the ****ing thing went through in the first place. They said they would call me and let me know if there was a problem. You would think in this day and age they could tell whether the funds transferred through or not. I am sure all wire transfers happen in real-time and the banks just make us wait 3-5 business days so they can hold onto our money.

Many banks allow you to send wires online now.

Filling out the form is easy if you have a brain. Best to bypass people entirely.

do5000 I was doing a wire from my bank to Betfair. THe address they needed was the bank address that it was going to and the address that the bank has on the bank account for Betfair.

Would be so much easier Durito if I could do the wire online but my bank doesn't allow that.Just allows these little interac money transfers that have low limits

Has been almost 24 hours and still no call yet.Maybe the wire actually went through. Here's hoping
