Pinnacle's over rounds are worse that nearly every other sportsbook

Looking at many sports (Tennis, rugby, cricket etc) their overrounds are now worse than the likes of Hills, Ladbrokes, Unibet etc

Coupled with the limit reductions too, is the end near for the once mighty Pinnacle?

Tennis, rugby and cricket, are not their strong points, their top odds are in soccer and top American sports

Their limits on top tier rugby are a joke imo. $200 max for major leagues pre-match day.

From their website "The lowest margins in the industry

Pinnacle’s average margin across all betting markets is around 3% - margins for popular markets such as major soccer leagues, the NFL or NBA are even lower (around 2%)."

More like 7-9% margins on many sports! Gone from top book to worse than softs!

I agree...all lines not even close to the old pinny we know from before. Their NHL and football (american) lines are even cloned from vanilla books in costa rica...I can tell they are identical and move the same amount/way simultaneously. Not much of a tennis better but good for you if you are I guess.
Its not their end...just pussying-down like most books, the end of value for us thats about all ho-hum.

They still advertise they have the best odds and margins on their site, its complete BS nearly every other book has better or equal odds these days. Sad but true

Seriously. Man I wish I had the brains I have now and be placed in 2005-2010 sportsbook heyday periods. Then I would only lose half as much

    Really?

Still looks like lowest margins in these current markets

Can you give me an example like that of where nearly every other book has better... or equal, as you say?

Pinnacle long ago farmed out their tennis to another outlet. That is why they have large limits and nice live lines on tennis. Otherwise they are a complete joke with their betting limits. College Baskets as I post this has a dime limit. They VERY gradually move up almost at post time for games to the 3 dime limit. And the spread is 8.5.

Guys on the corner in Brooklyn take more and pay faster.

I'd rather have them do this and make it work than them going down like SBO and Maxbet did recently.

Pinny odds are great in major leagues but mediocre in minor leagues. Today, I was betting on Hermes-Gorica game (Croatia league), juice was high like -115/-115.

Too many spreadsheet "sharps" exploiting small leagues that the huge whale bettors dont care about. Thats why they have 8 cent lines for epl at 70K limits and hanging 10c lines on todays NFL with 140k limits but pinny is broke and dont know what they are doing.

-115 on NCAAB totals is a bit crazy, but of the other sports I bet (NFL, NCAAF, NBA, NHL) they beat the competition. NBA is especially good.

@leetreaper I think Pinny are the best book out there, but they shouldnt put "average 3% margins across all sports" on their advertising when on a lot of sports its nearer 8 or 10%.

cbb lines are clones of all books, betdsi. How strange is that. They still have some value depending on sport, but clearly a lot worse in other sports than before. Their player prop bets also have terrible margins worse than or equal to regular books.

It's one of the unfortunate developments in recent years - lots of nit sharps from poorer countries. They're not making large amounts of money beating lower limit markets, but when the average wage is $10k/year or whatever, it's well worth it.
