    Bovada Bitcoin issue

RESOLVED...................I requested bitcoin withdrawal from Bovada yesterday and got the email/message this afternoon saying it had been processed. I go to my blockchain account & NO BITCOINS are showing. EVERYTIME I have ever gotten bitcoin payout and gotten the message the $$$ was ALWAYS in blockchain when I logged in.

I call and explain to Bovada Bitcoin expert and was put on hold while she talked to withdrawal team. She came back and said it was NOT showing on the blockchain network. I am 100% sure the wallet address is correct as I have gotten multiple payouts. After 5 minute hold she came back and said someone from Bovada would contact me within 48 hours. She also said she had NEVER had seen this happen before......that's the part that worries me!!

Anyone else ever had similar issue before? Needless to say I'm sure I will get paid....eventually

    Puzzled in the Tarheel state,

    Ant

Also, she said she checked the wallet address I gave them on blockchain and it shows nothing!!! I don't have a clue as to what could have happened but I am old fashioned and don't really think too much of these new ideas....i.e. bitcoin

If you requested a payout to a wallet address, and nothing is shown as being sent to that address on the public record, then you don't need to worry. The issue is at their end.

Go to blockchain.com and put your wallet address in the search box to check for yourself if it has been sent.

Obviously a pain in the rear end, but hopefully it won't really be 48 hours. The CS rep probably just has no idea how long and quotes that as maximum.

Opti.....thanks man!! I went to blockchain and searched the address I had given them and nothing shows. You are correct about it being a pain in the hind part too!!

Any idea as to next steps or will they call and ask me to provide another address(thus adding to the time I will be waiting). Seems like I have the craziest issues with offshore

It's probably just a processing system stuff up.

They will want to make sure they know what has happened and where any money went, if it did go. That's my guess anyway. Hopefully it can happen today, and hopefully will only be hours instead of 2 days.

Regarding the email you received, I've gotten that email many times saying it's been processed. Sometimes I check blockchain and it's not there, other times I receive it 12 hours later. Just because it's been processed doesn't mean that Bovada/Ignition has sent it yet.

    I wouldn't worry yet.

Crusherrr....it has ALWAYS been in my blockchain wallet as soon as I get the email and have a chance to open up blockchain. The lady at Bovada said she has never had a complaint like this so I'm guessing it's not happening often. Still sux having to wait...wait....wait....and continue to WAIT

I understand your concern. My experience has always been that once I get the email that I will receive it sometime in the next 24 hours. It's usually very quickly but sometimes it has taken almost the full day.

If I were you, I'd give Bookmaker and/or Heritage a shot too. I think you will have a better experience there.

Hopefully your payout gets sorted soon.

Well the sun has risen on another morning in the Tarheel state and still no $$ in my blockchain wallet. If I don't hear from Bovada today I guess I will have to file a complaint. I absolutely hate when things that are supposed to be simple arent.
I did see that Bovada Bitcoin withdrawals are the ONLY payouts they guarantee in the Bovada community when I was looking yesterday.

Optional.....i called Bovada again & was told I couldn't do anything but WAIT. I am 100% sure that the payout was sent to 1. Wrong wallet or 2. Someone else's acct wallet.
Do you think SBR can do anything to expedite this? I don't wanna make bets until this is cleared up. I have $500+ still in my account and can't do another payout request until they figure out what THEY did wrong!!
    Suggestions please!!

Why do you have two posting accounts Ant?

I sure hope you have not been using both for entering contests.

I'm not sure if we could speed things up or not, but may as well send in a complaint form and we can ask management for you.

Optional.....didn't realize that i didn't deactive the old account until I read your message. Made that post earlier today from my cell phone and didn't realize it was another(old) account. My mistake for not taking that one out but as far as "contests" I never entered ANY contests except the football one and only made picks on that couple times just to see where I was in the standings. Let it be clear that this was an error for me not deleting the old account.

I have nothing to gain from having 2 accounts. The reason for me starting this thread is as clear as the nose on your face. BOVADA sent message/email saying my bitcoin payout had been processed and the $$$ DID NOT go into my wallet address that I copied and pasted just as I have done many, many times in past 6 months. I was told someone from BOVADA would call me within 24 hours and they HAVE NOT CALLED/EMAILED, etc. When I call in get a poor CS rep who has to get all the details, etc only to be told that someone from BOVADA would be in touch by the end of today. NOT A PEEP FROM BOVADA unless I reach out to them. I have NEVER had a problem with BOVADA until this fiasco and let me be real clear that I don't think for a minute that I eventually won't get paid but my issue is it was on BOVADA end and I'm left w/o $$$ OR explanation.

I've been told that I can't make another withdrawal request until BOVADA figures out what BOVADA did wrong. So I'm sitting currently with a lil over $500 in my BOVADA acct and can't do 1 thing except make bets.....but why bet when I haven't gotten my $$$ from the last payout request?

I've been told and have read that BOVADA only "guaranteed method" of payouts is via bitcoin. Why won't they admit the error and allow me to request another payout so it doesn't take weeks? At this rate I may have gotten a check by courier faster than a bitcoin request!!!

    Frustrated in the Tarheel state,

    ANT

    Optional....

I just filled out the SBR complaint.....guess I will hope Bovada decides to fix whatever the issue was with my bitcoin withdrawal

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions!!

Optional.......YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS S### UP if you tried.
Immediately after my last post here @ 5:20 EST I went to my email account to forward the emails I had gotten from Bovada to help@sportbookreview.com when I had an incoming email from James in the Bovada community saying that I needed to check my blockchain wallet because the funds were sent. I logged in to blockchain & the $$$ was there. I am still confused as to why it took so long w/o 1 person from Bovada calling me back like they said they would,

    Long story short......I got PAID!!!

Thanks for your time and good luck the rest of the season,

    Glad you got your money.

I'd suggest sending an email to forum@sportsbookreview.com asking to have any old accounts shut down ASAP.

Will do.....it's obvious by # of posts that the 1 with the shark pic is an old one not used many times

Yeah the names are pretty close too. And I don't see it in the main contests going on right now.

It has been reported though, so send that email.

How long did it take for them to pay? Going on 6 days now and another guy said he's 15 days deep with bovada.

    Optional.....already sent the email

FakeNews916.....I got email confirmation that my bitcoin withdrawal was complete 18 hours after the request was put in. The problem was the $$$ never made it to my wallet until 24+ hours later after they said the $$$ was in. Never takes more than 30 hours in all the payouts I've ever gotten from them. I said early in the posting that I had no doubt I would get paid but once you have been NOT paid by a sportsbook it doesn't take much to get the doubts/nerves in an uproar!!
    Bottom line......they do pay
