    BetOnline Bad Beat Jackpot: LOL!

The same player smashes the bad beat TWICE in 2-months for $340,000

At least make it a little less obvious

    https://www.cardplayer.com/poker-new...-jackpot-twice

WATCH: Online Poker Player Wins Bad Beat Jackpot Twice

BetOnline Pays Out Nearly $700,000 To 92 Players
by Card Player News Team | Published: Jan 07, 2019
BetOnline, a leading online poker site, saw its bad beat jackpot hit yet again this holiday season, this time for a total payout of $696,880. The huge prize was split by 92 lucky players, the luckiest of all being an online grinder who goes by the name of ‘santinhoz’.
Incredibly, it was this very same player who triggered the last bad beat jackpot, which hit in November. Back then, the jackpot had swelled to $1,249,972. After getting his quad tens beaten by quad aces, ‘santinhoz’ scored $218,033 for his trouble.
This time around, ‘santinhoz’ made quad jacks, only to see them cracked by ‘Orianne17’ and his straight flush. For the second bad beat, ‘santinhoz’ pocketed an additional $121,883, while ‘Orianne17’ banked $87,109. The other three players at the table earned a table share of $23,229, while everyone else at a qualifying table won $801.
The worst beat, however, belonged to a player known as ‘Passamassa’, who was seated at the table and witnessed the jackpot hit, but did not receive a prize payout because he was not dealt into the hand.
    Check out the action below.

The new bad beat jackpot is already up to $333,000 and climbing. If you’d like to get started on BetOnline, but don’t have an account, sign up today.

Everyone get so bent out of shape over something minor with the sports book, but this is something that needs to be investigated in a very serious manner. No way to tell exactly, but the odds of this happening are probably one in 250 million or so. This is something SBR should not take lightly, even though it is basically a free payout

If it's an inside job whoever Santinhoz is has done a great job losing nearly all of the jackpot winnings at $10/$20 NL. Wait lists have been running deep everytime he sits. I suppose BOL could have just taken the Jackpot money and distributed it to all the Mid/High stakes regs but it's more likely it's just some luckbox who struck gold and doesn't care about the money.

Are there no fish anymore? I used to crush it in MTTs but I quit the game because of tilt. Sports betting is much less variance.

So this is the same place that this guy was caught red handed cheating so this would not surprise me. They made an excuse of Human error before even though you can see he blatantly dd it. If they do this with the Live stuff you know they will do it with the straight virtual games too.

If you are playing small field MTT's the variance isn't that bad. If you're playing <$55 Avg buy in at least.

If you've played at all on either sites you would know BetOnline is one of the softest sites available. Cash games are tough but not nearly as difficult as bot infested WPN(ACR) Network. BetOnline software works and looks way better than ACR as well.

I hate BOL's software. ACR is my 5th option after Pokerstars, 888, Party, B365... so yeah, I avoid BOL.

Shit like this went down at ultimate poker. Regardless of what anyone says, their is always keys to get into the system to manipulate. You have to have that backdoor for building , testing, and debugging a system.

I'm sure it's happened other places but that scandal proved you just can't trust it, especially at stakes high enough it's worth the risk.

Bot. I’m friends with a pro who’s been sponsored by two different major websites both pre Black Friday and post, and the sites especially today are swelled with bots. Both created by people but also by the site. Online poker in the US is a nightmare

LOL the old sites where probably more corrupt w super users ect....security is good at most sites and your statement “there is too much $ involved for the Not to be rigged” shows you have no clue on how they make money....ever hear of “rake” LOL....if the sites where found to be so corrupted they would have no traffic..go on with a buddy and try a chip dump or some collusion see what happens...security will freeze you....online blows away live....online sites have everything to lose if “rigged” so security is very good

I agree. The problem is people don't understand you can't just jump into a $1/$2 (200NL) cash game online and expect to print money like it's 2006 again. Nowadays to be successful you need to understand balanced/GTO strategies and how to implement them properly as well as work extensively with player ranges and equities. How many SBR poker players have used PIO Solver or any type of solvers? How many understand ICM? How many actually run sims and use HUDS. It's so mathematically complex and you need to put just as much into the game off the tables as you do on.
The game has evolved. I remember everyone used to pot everything (3.5) or 4x preflop in cash games online. Now everyone min raises or 2.5x because you can open a lot wider with smaller sizes and play more post flop where the real edges come in. It's a different game. Are there lots of bots? Of course, but they are mostly in micro and small stakes. They all have similar stats and are often the same bot. They last 25k hands or so until regs have enough data to report them and out they go.

Winrates have also come down a lot. It's very difficult to beat the rake period at the micros/small stakes. Bad players are not as bad as they used to be. People don't stack off for 100bb with AJ preflop anymore.

Same guy lol ......... Anyways regardless in Richard Marcus book Dirty Poker from 2005-06 there's good info on how people were cheating online poker and as the years went on it continued with with bigger and better scam such as the Ultimate Bet story ....etc..... have to remember those are the few that got caught, I'm sure many more go unnoticed.

Same guy probably 10-20 table grinding 12 hours a day....also remember that the bad beat is split up between players and is added to rake...your all over the place make no practical sense except for trump style conspiracy theorists

yea it’s a lot tougher. So many regulars multi table...tough games for sure. I think loosest and most fish is nitrogen....I also like playing 7 card stud or hi low at heritage find that many loose calling stations
