For those having problems using the main BetOnline website.

Try using the tablet site directly from your browser. Works well.

The 25 dots is a red herring. It's not that the site is filling in the wrong password for you.

Wouldn't it make sense, at this point, for SBR to contact the mgmt of an A+-rated book and get official word as to what is going on over there?

Or is this site no longer actively managed?

their site has had too many problems in the last 4-5 months, should upgrade their technical staff

My guess is they implemented some features to avoid similar DDoS attack that happened before. And those features made the site very unstable at the same time. Unless they decide to switch to a brand new site and betting software, the problem will never go way. Sadly it must be a very costly approach and not to their best interest.

Tried the tablet site and it took several times to log in as well, and almost immediately after log in, the system logged me out, showing message "Your session has expired, please log in again". Did this tablet site really work well for you guys?

The site has been garbage for months, why isn't it being fixed?
It's amazing that a shop can have these kind of technical issues and such a frustrating customer service and still be profitable.

I'd try and help you try to work out if there is anything you can do to improve it... but that might upset the people who just want to talk about blame or demand everyone has the same problem and no one but BOL can make it better.

The fact they are still in business should twig some of you to see it is not everyone and just maybe some of you do have some control over the situation yourselves.

I had better shut up before someone claims I am blaming you Grady, but you should try to rule out the route and your device being infected as potential contributors.

I've talked to a handful of friends and a few relatives that use betonline and all have the same issues as mentioned in this thread. Some more than others. I normally have to log in 2-3 times for it to stick and then when I try placing my first bet sometimes it works sometimes I get logged out and have to do it again. If I did live betting it would drive me nuts to the point where I'd use a different site. Being that I place maybe 1-2 bets a day and with plenty of time to spare until game time it doesn't bother me so much. I couldn't imagine betting 10-20 games a day and have to deal with this hassle though.

I think that's a fair comment, but why wouldnt a company like BOL tell us this "secret" way to easily access their site. CS is no help whatsoever and clearing my cache everyday is annoying and doesn't seem all that helpful. I'm a gambler not an IT expert.

Ok, rather than ask CS, Opti, what should I do here? My router is giving me no indication that it's having problems, I've cleared my cache on the browser (which is chrome), I basically only use the one computer for gambling so there is nothing else running in the background, and I can access all the other sportsbooks no problem whatsoever.

same exact problem in 3 locations, with 2 different providers on 2 different laptops in the last month. Like i have stated before, I came to the conclusion it cant possibly be the device being used when a brand spanking new computer had the issue right when I took it out of the box.

Its clearly a problem with some or all of major US internet providers. Why has every website on earth been able to not have these problems except for bet-online? Its not like this problem has been a day or 2. It has been multiple months at least. If this was common (with other websites), nobody would be blaming betonline. But all of us access all sorts of websites every day, and dont have similar issues. Thats why all these betonline customers are perplexed to no end.

Are they incapable of fixing it (and be like basically every other website on earth?) Do they not care? Is there a 3rd possible option I am missing?

everyone has the problem and BOL does not give a crap, I asked about it 100 times and "Dave" just says quit telling me about it

yes i am aware of the thread. you dont have to keep reminding me. As I have told you numerous times, IT is working on it. Mobile is fixed and they are onto desktop. HOPEFULLY it is fixedd this week. Again, you do not have to keep reminding me. Complaints are way down thankfully, although some are still having issues.

The website has been working fairly well last day. It takes longer than usual to login and to confirm bets, but at least has not logged me out in short sessions.

it could a bunch of things. I don't think there is any secret. But in some cases it seems to be the person is setting off anti-DDOS security, and there is some possibility of being able to stop that yourself. I honestly do not know if all the login/logout problems are related to this but if it's driving you crazy it's worth trying.

First it could be related to one of the intermediary hop points between you and the BOL host servicing your location. The easiest way to check this is if the next time you are having a persistent issue with it you can swap the connection. If on a PC, switching to using your phone as a hot spot is a good way.

Do this a few times when the issue comes up and if it improves every time, you know it is connection related. Could be a device along the way is considered hot as too much traffic is coming through it and in turn putting your traffic on a higher security level. Or a bunch of things like that.

In that case, you can try contacting 2nd level support at your ISP and trying to get onto a tech who will manually re-route traffic from your IP and BOL. But not much else you can do apart from that or get a new ISP.

If it isn't connection related, then you can check if your device is infected with something that is setting off the website security, or part of the botnet attacking them.

The best way to do this is to use the malwareremoval.com free service. It can take a couple of days of back and forth as they get you to run utilities and post reports back for them. But it's genuinely the best way to be sure you are clean of everything 100%.

That might all turn out to be a waste of time as far as fixing it. But you will know 100% there is definitely nothing more you can do from your end.

Hope that helps a few people.

Why doesnt any other website i have ever used have the problems bet-online is having? yes I have seen it on a smaller scale for a small amount of time, but nothing close to this. What is every other website able to do that betonline is not? Why is this different?

I genuinely don't know for sure. My best guess is similar to what someone posted above. Their software/infrastructure is scaled to the max and they probably need to completely redevelop or replace it to fix this completely.

Why that hasn't happened? No idea. But I am sure there is some good reason.

I am sure there is a reason. I highly doubt there is a GOOD reason. At least 1 that would shed betonline in a good light.

No one is claiming they can never login, you fukkin idiot. But NO ONE here has claimed BOL's desktop site works consistently. I specifically asked your 1,000s of users from across the globe if anyone was NOT having major issues, and ZERO replies.

As for you, you don't even have an account, so what exactly is your comment providing us? But maybe you're right...maybe I have a virus that lets me load 1,000 URLs flawlessly except for BOL and LV. Every day. From three different machines. From four different ISPs.

We get it. BOL pays SBR. SBR pays you.

This helps no one, except maybe BOL in some twisted way. All users with a clue did this -- months ago. Zero have reported success.

Stopped using BOL a few days ago mostly because of their desktop issues of signing me out about 7-10 times per session as well as initial logins never going through. This was a nightmare for live betting and just placing a bet a few minutes before games started. I’d be logged in for about 10-15 minutes looking at lines and then would click on My Account and instantly be logged out. Then without logging in I’d click back on sports and my account was magically logged back in.

Thought it was just me but I’ve heard multiple other people have this problem and one went as far as saying the constant login attempts as well as being logged out constantly was so ingrained in his brain he just got used to it.

The mobile platform worked flawless for me though.

Even if the BetOnline login issues were limited to specific client machines having unique configurations (it clearly isn't), that would still be a problem that BetOnline should fix. You can't have a website that doesn't work for a significant percentage of your customer base. What other major websites operate in this way?

And I believe we're still waiting for the first person to report that they are not having login issues at the BOL desktop site.........................

BOL used to be one of my 2 favorite offshores. Its reputation is still salvageable with me but this is getting to be insane.
