thats the boot n' whip horse book at borgata next to the poker room.....My guess is every casino in AC brings back the ponies now. You already have tellers on hand so why not. Borgata is the only casino that has had horse racing in the last 5+ years. Easy transition to sports for them

believe baseball is more important today to bookies of all stripes than it use to be

20c was common broke higher around 150 a few yrs back... can remember Locals picking up baseball only after all star gm because football was around the corner

Baseball is the easiest for the Gambler to make money long term, where Football and Basketball are not.

In vegas they will deal you 15 cent lines, I'm not saying they throw up the 20 cent lines to stop you from Gambling on it.
But If they could ( But they are not going to y=turn away money ) Most shops would rather not.
But They are in the business to Offer sports gambling, so any form of gambling is offered.

There has been talk over the years about not taking baseball, but they don't want to lose customers over it.
So some sportsbooks will offer 20 cents lines, because the thinking is if and when they lose we will get back some of the winnings

Yes I remember those days.

In those cases back then a local book thought they would be able to get a better "feel" of the game and it odds based on how the teams played the first half.

I also remember a lot of locals closed up during baseball

Well there are plenty of ways to correct me or someone else without calling me all kinds of names.

The sportsbooks is gonna be in the race book? Jesus Christ, the small place is already jammed packed! You can never get a seat in that place and there’s no standing room! Bar is always packed and only holds like 10 people.

Borgata should take out those shops in the water club and build a sportsbooks in there. I never see anyone shopping in those stores.

With regulation you can't have it all. Low juice and a lot of "player management" or high juice and more perks.

Competition will bring both types of books to your state eventually.

Self serve betting terminals in pubs and bars will change the way Americans think about betting if ever approved too.
