    Heritage Sports ********** Issue

    Hello all,
Long time browser, first time poster. Wanted to get some thoughts/advice on a situation that has occurred.

So this morning I found my Heritage account overnight had lost $60. I checked my account history with them and it shows a $40 customer withdrawal and a $20 processing fee. I live chatted with customer service and they claim its a ********** for a $40 deposit I made back on March 4th. This draws a ton of red flags for me. During that time I wasn't even playing at Heritage sports, I was playing over at BetOnline. And I swear on my life I did not make a $40 deposit during those dates, and even if I did it would've been with BetOnline. I acknowledged that back in early February I did make some deposits with Heritage BUT they were all in the $100-$150 range.

I asked Heritage why they waited so long to try process a $40 deposit, nearly 2 months after the supposed date. They said "because up until now the department in charge could do it". I have no idea what that meant and the rep was no help explaining it. They literally couldn't truly explain if this was a ********** (them recovering money) or them trying to simply process a deposit extremely late. Again keep in mind, on my end I didn't do any $40 deposit with them around that time so to me it's all bullshit no matter what.

Then I ask, "Ok, can you check for me if there are any more 'surprises' or pending charges on my file?" They said no that's not possible. WTF. I asked them if that means they can basically charge me back any amount at any time and just say "oh, ********** for deposit from several months ago" and they pretty much said "yes".

Oh and of course they said they do not keep records of the name of the processor/company that the deposit tried to go through so even if I wanted to verify anything on my bank statement it wouldn't be possible.

This feels like I'm just getting screwed. How do I know that a month from now...a week from now, shit maybe a few hours from now my account won't have another $40 taken out and customer service just say "********** from 2 months ago" and there is like no evidence of it ever occurring?

I emailed Customer Service asking them if they can give me my account's deposit history for the months of February/March. That way I can see a list of every date/amount I supposedly deposited. They should be able to at least give me that right? Their website seems to only go back 14 days worth.

If you can't work it out or get an explanation from CS shoot in a sportsbook complaint form with your account details and SBR can ask a manager to have a look at it for you.

Heritage advise that your account was opened March 3rd. And the reversed deposit was made March 4th.

Could you be thinking of another book? As saying you were not playing there at the time makes no sense.

Heritage say this was a reversal of a credit card deposit plus the fees charged by their processor. $40 + $20.

Heritage say that they have explained if you are refuting this, that you should contact your bank and obtain proof of the validated transaction.

They say they have provided all the details of the transaction needed to help you do this with your bank.

    Have you done that?

Unlike a lot of other complaints we see here, however, the OP seemed honest and sincere. My guess is that this was an honest mistake on his part.

Other than not hooking me up with the good promos on the holidays that I hear about here I have not had any problems with them. I am sure they are not trying to scam you for $40.

I was sent to heritage from my sportsbooks years back. I went thru my man Wally @thegreek.com and i loved the guy and thegreek was the best site I ever used offshore. Always paid me, even when i struck for 13 grand in 2004. Money was there within 48 hours. That being said, i never liked heritage. I was up 3 grand over holidays about 7 years ago and they wouldnt give me my money. Anyway ended up losing it just how they wanted and i have played there maybe twice since.

Oh yeah... the reason was The Greek stopped taking American players bets so i had no choice but heritage and for real since Wally sent me there, i had faith. Didn't work out. But, i am glad i found nitrogen sports. They r all business and no game playing. For real. My deposits are in my account within a minute usually. Withdrawals are 1 hour at the most from when i request until when it hits my wallet. So far so good, and keeping my fingers crossed that nitrogen is really this good always!!! Truly like living in Vegas without all the people to deal with. Lol

It's not like I felt that heritage was being dishonest with me when i was up 3k and trying to get paid, they just were making go thru hoop after hoop after hoop and at that time for some reason 3k didn't mean that much to me (seems dumb I know) so i just bet it and lost it back. And i do still deposit there at least 1 time a year for 50 or 100 because i love their point buying system, especially on pars, and i love the website in general.
