GTbets refusing to pay, and making excuses - Am owed $10,500

I put in the first deposit of $500 and lost it within 3 bets. I deposited again and ran it up to $10,500, and now they refuse to pay because I had someone place a couple of bets for me while I had no wifi cause I was working out in the fields in Texas at the time, and it was simple to just text it or call from a landline, since they dont do over the phone wagers.

NOW they are saying they wont pay me because of that, and also something along of "Bonus Hunting". Which I looked up, and I DID none of that! I REALLY NEED THIS MONEY IN THE WORST WAY!! I dont really want to go into details of why I need it, but trust me, I do

THEY ARE STIFFING ME! I NEED HELP!

Here is my betting history from them on how I ran it up, there was no shady betting or abusing lines.

    HELP ME PLEASE!

hopefully SBR can help....But anytime I see statements like "someone place a couple of bets for me while I had no wifi" It is red Flag city and smells fishy

When I spoke with Brian, and read him the Terms and Conditions... It even says "The member is liable for any unauthorized use of his/her wagering account." .... so either way I am liable for any wagers won or lost.... IF I lost, would they refund me cause someone made a bet for me?

To me it seems they are trying to find any excuse NOT to pay.

This only came up because I asked for a payout... Then they needed ID, then a bill, then this, then that, and on and on and on.;... finally they just said "No"

    It bull****

It sounds like they think you and your friend have worked together to exploit something Jimmy.

Or it could simply be your friends account that is sus and now they think he controls yours by logging in from the same place.

They, and most books, have a rule about one IP/Device/Address per account. The ID request was pretty normal in those circumstances.

What reason did they give you when they said "No"?

If you shoot in an SBR sportsbook complaint form we should be able to get a manager to review your account at the very least.

I didnt exploit anything, as you can tell from my entire betting history, and deposits. I just got very lucky on a few of those wagers. I didnt play both sides or get a bad line.

And I am putting in the complaint form now, thanks for that!

The thing that stands out to me the most is the weird bet sizing. Why are your bets so strange. One day you are betting $3450 and then $10 and then back up to $2112 one day later. I'm not claiming your doing anything wrong but normally people will be betting $500 or $525/$550 to win $500 etc. and maybe they will bet a spread of 1 unit $500 and 2 units $1000 or something but not $3450 and then $10. It's not like you were betting the full account balance either. You started with $500 deposit and got $1000 with the bonus cash and you decide to bet $341? I don't understand that.

Also, never let anyone use their phone or computer to place bets on their accounts in your home or log into your account anywhere to place bets even if you give them permission. If they choose to not pay you they can absolutely use that to their advantage and there isn't much you can do about it.

I did that on some bigger underdogs for some action for fun. And having someone place a wager for me cause I have no access to the internet isnt a reason.

+148 on a bigger underdog? So you feel $3450 confident on a -115 but only $10 confident on +148?

It shouldn't surprise you they are at least looking things over very closely

Are you saying if I have 2 computers, or a phone and a computer, I can't bet on both?
And many people have 2 internet connections, like home cable internet and mobile broadband through cellular (I have both and use both). What you said makes no sense at all and is completely wrong.

Nothing fishy with bet sizes, he must have felt very confident or greedy hehe with the 3k bet, probably handicapped it quite a bit and just confident. Does that mean he cant ever make 10 buck wagers. I stated to someone weeks ago on this forum that I could make a 1k bet and sometimes Ill bet 40 bucks they said I was a fraud like lol. Heck in live play Ill even make 1 dollar wagers just because. You could just be scrolling down the page and see something and just want to place a 10 buck or 20 buck wager on something just because it catches your eye but youre not confident or sold on it, if you win its plus 10 or 20 bucks if you lose then its just 10 or 20 bucks.

I meant using more than one account from the same connection or device. Sorry for my bad wording.

Not saying they should not pay you...but at least tell the truth and admit you were in fact bonus hunting and arbitrage betting. Most likely with a "friend" account and you got caught. Too many red flags...

    That's probably what GTbets thinks.

But bonus hunting or arbing is not "illegal". There needs to be some evidence the two worked together to improve their odds of converting a bonus, or to beat house limits, before taking action against him.

The betting patterns of both accounts should reveal the truth.

Personally I don’t like gt for the lack of betting options, particularly with parlay.

If books are anything like daily fantasy sites then it’s crystal clear that ACCOUNT SHARING IS NOT ALLOWED. I know people that have been banned on dfs sites for sharing accounts, and some where in the rules etc states that you agree to surrender all funds if you share your account on some sites.

I have no idea what OP was doing , but for myself my wagers go Up and Down like this all the time. Most the time it's because my little brother is visiting and i will make small bets for him so he has some action lol

I can imagine the phone call. Hey Mike, log into my GTBets account and place $2,112 on the Astros moneyline for me. I'm out in the field. Thanks

It just doesn't add up. GTBets is a solid book and never once gave me trouble when I won a lot off of them previously. They took away all of my deposit bonuses so I have no reason to continue playing there but their initial 100% Cash and 50% 2nd deposit are among the best 1st deposit bonuses you will find so I imagine they get a lot of bonus abuse and are looking for any reason to not pay you. I hope you see the money but you need to understand the bet sizing, having other people place bets for you, among other things will make it so these books can find ways to screw you over whether you are legit or not.

Since there is no internet out in the fields, how do you know what you want to bet on? Is your friend reading all the lines to you and you tell him to stop when you hear odds that’s you like? I’m curious how this works.

The games and matchups are listed in our newspapers out here, thats the easiest way to find the info if internet access isnt good or no access at all.

He probably won't answer the question. I'm hoping he gets paid regardless of what he was up to but seeing as his bet sizes were so strange and he was having a friend place the bets in his account I'm guessing GTBets just isn't buying it. That's why I joked before and said "Yeah, place $2,112 on the Astros Moneyline". The strange amounts and the fact that some bets were done by a buddy of his make the situation at least somewhat questionable.

Okay, and if the line has changed or is different from what is in the newspaper for some reason, does your buddy call you back to see if you still want to make a play or adjust your stake size?

No, if there was a change, he just told me over the phone while I was on the call with him, or just sent a text back. But there were no huge line changes on the games I bet that would make me second guess. And random numbers were me evening out my amount in case it lost.

Example. If my balance was $3112, I would bet $2112, in case it lost I would have an even $1000 left. But if it won, I would win a little bit extra.... Sometimes I would do the actual math to win an even amount if I felt like it

Just stop...first of all, no-one calls a friend and tells him to make a 2k bet on a line. You do that yourself. 2k is too big a bet to casually have a friend place for you. Definitely if you are working in a field yourself...meaning you aren't making millions. 2nd of all, if you check the cell phone internet coverage map of Texas, it has an almost 100% coverage so there is no "fields of texas" where you don't have a service.

There is nothing wrong with bonus hunting or arbitrage...but please, stop assuming the rest of us are idiots by making up this stuff. They should pay you if they can't prove you have multiple accounts.
