    Beware of Betcris!

They stole a fraction of your winnings. So, you need to contact them regularly to claim. If you see the image, you ca check how they offered a line of --121, which in this case it would have to return 2.49 but the payment was for 2 net only. And this is a recurrent behavior with this sportbook. Please be advised:

    Hi Morochos.

They round all payouts to the nearest dollar. This is not really something to complain about as a 3 dollar bettor. It actually gives you the advantage of being able to choose odds and bet sizes that see you getting paid more than the advertised odds.

Do you also contact them to give back the extra 49 cents you gain when betting $3 at -120 and end up being paid +100 when they round up the cents in that bet?

Sure, I did contact them because that is not a fair practice. And yes, I'm a 3 dollars bettor, maybe you are a millionaire, congratulations for you, but what I'm explaining here is the bad behavior of this company. This is a way to steal big amounts if you take 80 cents of 10.000 customers each day.
And no, they are not rounding to the nearest dollar, because if I win 3.8, they pays 3 only, as you can see in this other image and that is not a fair practice

What he's saying is if you were betting $300 or even $30 there would be no problem.

    $3 bets? Lol?

I was wrong honestly. I was not demeaning him over 3 bucks bets, I thought they rounded up as well as down.

But do agree, he just needs to find another book that suits such tiny bets if he wants to play that small.

This might be the answer as well Morochos. Try switching to display decimal odds. Should work the same at CRIS and BM.

I have other accounts, with bovada and betonline, and they don't have this bad practice against the customers. Betcris is the only I know that do this trick.
And please, gentlemen, remember we're not debating here about sizes. This thread is about an issue that would not be legal for any betting company.

Welcome to the world of unregulated sportsbooks pal, if they see it fit to tax you for making such small Wagers so be it. If you don't like it go somewhere else.

Believe It or Not, servers, website design teams, clerks, linesman, janitors, security all that stuff costs a lot of money every month

Banks have more costs than sportsbooks, but they can't take the cents of your money as if we were in the pirates' era.
Are you confortable with the abuse? Great. I don't

Actually a bank probably has less overhead than a physical sports book and yes they do take tons of money from you Wells Fargo charges $30 for an outgoing wire and $15 for an incoming wire, roughly three times what other Banks charge, there are account service fees and a million more that I'm not going to go on to explain.

Your bank is ripping you off way more than the Cris family pal

Go open a checking account and try to keep a $3 balance in there, or make $3 transactions all day.

    See what they do.

A bank's wire transfer is not comparable to a bet in the internet.
By the way, that bet was of $3, my balance is different.
My friend, I'm informing about a serious issue. There is no reason to take the cents of your customers. Why not at the inverse way? Giving the cents instead or taking them?
The most serious companies don't take the cents as betcris does. The most serious betting sites pay the cents, even if they are 0.01

The bottom line is a sportsbook is not a bank.

If you want to make extremely small bets, be ready to give up a little margin for that privilege.

Thanks, moojoo. You are right, I'm from a small country in South America, but even if I was an american citizen, this practice is not fair.
And no, Brickjames, it's no a privilege for me to bet in betcris. I also have accounts in bovada and betonline. I can compare which company is better. In this way, they will loss hundreds of customers. Actually, I know they have tons of claims against this trick, because its customer service told me that

ok just help me understand because I don't want to be accused of being a schill. Just want to make sure I get your thinking here. Please indulge me.

So you have a few cents that you can't see in the account.
Instead of going directly to betcris and talking to a live chat rep or someone on the toll free number, you decide to open a thread on SBR instead?
You take the time to screenshot the account and post it in the thread
finally, you accuse them of stealing from you.

    Do I have it right?

OP has a good point esp for small bets that is huge but any bet seems wrong....Betcris is a good book. is this standard for them as I know no other book that does this?? Maybe by getting this out to forum and social media they will change this...

OP you should not blame betcris for that. I agree it's a bad practice. My bet size is similar with yours. And several bucks is significant amount of money for me right now. But in this case you have some advantage over highrollers. You can bet on some exotic sports and ITF futures. Also you can use solid recreational books (weak lines, superior odds) like marathonbet and bet365 for long time before they cut your limits.

Betonline does the same thing, if you bet $1 into a +155 the ticket will read risking $1 to win $1

No, friends, I have a betonline account. If you bet at any line, you will receive the decimals, I can show images if you want. Check what you poeste: risk 1 to receive 1.59.
At betcris, they show a similar bet slip, but they take the decimals at the end. After the bet has been made, what is worse, because is like a scam

If you understand Spanish, you can check in this image that the support team is recognizing the bad practice that I'm exposing here. However, more than a month has passed since my first claim and nothing has been corrected. It's simply a scam to take the decimals of all accounts. Big gamblers are not aware or is not important for them

wow ppl are defending this book that is trying to steal from ppl because its a small wager? if they dont want you to bet small they can change the min bet. reminds me of office space where they put the decimal in the wrong place when trying to steal fractions of a cent.
