Long story short I made a 2 team parlay bet other night and I did not win but I did push and there refusing to refund me my money net claiming I lost. San Jose sharks scored 2 goals and went into over time and scored the 3rd. The jerk off advised me to read the rules and when I did and politely told him he’s wrong and the rules clearly state over time counts unless the ticket says other wise, and the guy got furious with me it seemed like after I sent him the rules and told him him I win other bets in over time with nhl. I talked to a buddy of mine out in Vegas and he said no, if the ticket does not say regulation time only they have to pay you for the win or refund my money in my case. I pushed on my basketball game and I still have my ticket saved. I read the rules over and over again and they clearly state over time and shoot outs count in hockey unless otherwise noted and my ticket clearly stats I took the over 2.5 goals and they had to score 3 goals in the game. I have another ticket that clearly states for this game over time will not count.

    That's all a bit confusing.

Am I right in thinking you had a parlay and a straight bet involving Ov2.5 in the NHL game?

And the straight bet says Reg Time in your betting history but the for the parlay there is no mention of reg time for that leg?

Yeah sorry was late when wrote this up. I was trying to find a way to add attachments. I made a 2 team parlay

I was a little wrong though. Both were nhl games thought the one was basketball that was another wager.

    2/11/18

Flyers vs Vegas 5 goals that turned out to be a push

San Jose vs ducks over 2.5 goals

Sharks win 3-2 in over time, and the ticket does not say regulation time only. When I was filling it out as well and selecting the games usually it will tell me regulation time only. Just listed over 2.5 goals for the game.

When I mentioned this too the wager department the guy seemed to get very inpatient and mad when I told him I did as he said, and read the rules. I have never had an issue with these guys, and don’t want to start having one know.

Did you have a straight bet on Sharks TT ov2.5 as well?

Did that bet mention Reg Time?

Bookmaker is a solid out. They certainly are not going to cheat you or anyone out of winnings. Please be patient and clear as to what exactly happened. Remember to ALWAYS read the bet terms BEFORE you place a wager. This way there is no confusion or misinterpretation of said rules.

No it was a 2 team parlay

    First game 5 goals total

2nd game sharks over 2.5 goals for the game.

I placed several bets before where I lost in over time that we’re regulation only and a fair share of bets won by covering in over time. Not sure why some nhl games are regulation only and others count over time. I read the bet terms as well and it was 3 goals total final score. If over time is not included it says it on my tickets.

I read the rules as well and there’s an area that states over time, extra innings, and extra quarters count unless the game says other wise.

If it was sharks team total over 2.5 bookmaker clearly states team totals are regulation time only

If you send in a sportsbook complaint form with your account details and the bet ID # SBR should be able to help you either fix it or find out exactly whats going on at least.

Then why are there 2 separate rules? I left the rules they gave me it states the only game that over time does not count is soccer, and it just confuses me as to why if this was the case why won’t regulation time only be on every ticket and why would I be paid for over time goals.

So that to me is not clear. I’m looking at an old ticket, nhl I always do over 2.5 goals, the ticket was won and the 3rd goal came the first few minutes of over time. It does not list regulation time only. I have another ticket final score they had 3 goals on another team but ticket stated regulation time only and I lost it.

All you have to do is highlight the ticket..... copy it...then paste it. Simple as that. Then we can see who made a mistake

Filing a complaint won’t get me In trouble with them will it? All I’m getting it as I can swear I have winnings from team totals that counted in over time because I have 2 different kind of tickets depending on the night I wager. I mostly do nhl. Kind of don’t do well with college basketball I either cover by 20 points or lose by 15. I’ll file the complaint I just also wanted to make sure it would not give me a bad reputation with them if I’m at fault. Just couldn’t understand some tickets saying regulation only and others not that I’m almost positive I won in over tome with then after reading a section in their rules stating unless stated in the ticket over time etc counts towards final score with the exception/exclusion of soccer.

No they wont mind at all. Its not a formal complaint. Just a form to get the info to the right person. I am sure they would prefer to fix it for you or clear it up, rather than have an ambiguous thread going on and on too.

I can't seem to access their web site right now, but Bookmaker's rules state that NHL team totals are for regulation time only.

If you bet a NHL team total the ticket will not state “regulation time only” but it is in the rules. This is from my experience anyways.

We asked the OP to paste the exact ticket, since the original post is a little hard to follow, but if that's the case then the bet would have been graded correctly.
