I read a post further down about a SBR poster who received full payment from APex some five years later. Is there any chance SBR could assist me in the same thing?
I deposited with LegendSportsbook.com. $300 and got a matchplay for the same amount. Actually, I didn't intend to deposit there--I meant to deposit at Legendz, but I some how got tricked up.
Anyhow, I lost that $300. But I received an e-mail from Sam(CSR at LegendSportsbook) who invited me to play on credit at ace23.com. I had heard about Blackdog and CreditWagering(gotten paid by them), and still at the time assume Legend was legit, so I took him up on the offer.
I won $1,000 from Ace23.com. Monday comes, and my account is frozen. Then, the number I used to talk with the guy I set it up with is disconnected.
I know it's a long shot, but I could really use that grand about now. The domain lookup shows Ace23.com is owned by RDG, who I'm pretty sure is APEX, right? Also, the dead giveaway is that I could log-in with my Ace23 account/password on the LegendsSportsbook website and vice versa, so they were on the same system. Man, this would be AMAZING if I could get reimbursed on this somehow.
There is nothing to lose in filling out an SBR complaint forum but my suggestion would be, whether they can recover your funds or not, be more careful with your money in the future.
I just got a call from someone w/ APEX and he spoke with me about the situation. He said the guy who stiffed me, "Mike", was a pay per head guy who rented their service and then bounced. Sounds like a good deal for them still--they make money off of guys like me playing with their software, and then don't have to be held responsible when the guy leasing it up and leaves?
He said Mike is now with 4PCV.com which is run by BetPhoenix now. Any truth to that?
Also, Bill Dozer, could you confirm that you passed along my complaint, and that is how they got my phone number to call me. If not, then this must be an isolated incident.
I dont know but I was contacted by some one too and am trying to figure what the play is? Does any one know who Vincent Ross is? Or anything else about this www.ace23.com book?
It's a scam. They ripped me off for a grand, and now he's trying to play it off. This Zach character is fine with making money off of renting his service to agents but doesn't want to accept the risk that goes with it.
im up big on him this week.... we'll see tomorrow if he is for real or not....
Im just hoping that u got a bad bookie.... i heard good things about this guy and his "company" though, so who knows (the bookie i deal with, not ace23)
This is the book where Mike Spencer (alias) started out.
Be careful of Legendsportsbook. I have not had any direct dealings with them but they do refer you to
ace23 and that is where you will get ripped. Just steer clear of them altogether.
