    Bitcoin depositing

What is the best way to deposit via bitcoin now? I used to buy on Circle, transfer to blockchain, deposit to the sportsbook. And do the opposite to cash out. I noticed Coinbase allows you to buy bitcoins apparently. Would it be best to do Coinbase to blockchain with Coinbase taking the place of Circle? Sorry if I am confusing anybody. What is the best method to use now since you are unable to buy on circle anymore? All help appreciate.

Not confusing. And yes use the same method with the blockchain wallet as middle man.

Coinbase.com, Gemini.com and ItBit.com are the three places most similar to Circle with ACH transfers and simple interface. Gemini the cheapest I believe.

Also, if you still have a record of your old Circle bitcoin wallet addresses that you have sent to there before, then you can still use them to send bitcoin and cash out with Circle as before. Do a test with a small amount first to ensure you have a good address and see it credited before sending a big amount.

Great to here. Yeah, circle isn't working anymore. It is saying can't buy or sell bitcoins with them. And i believe if i remember right when you are transferring to your bank account, that is selling them?

So transferring straight from Gemini to the books is not a good idea?

I used circle before as well so I have a blockchain wallet...... can it be used now with Gemini or do I need a new wallet ?

    Thanks !

Not even the CS people at Circle know that this works. Just send a small amount to an old receive address and see if it turns up for you. Many other posters have reported this works. I have not seen it mentioned for a month or two though so double check with a small send if you want to try.

The reason we used a middle man wallet to start with was Coinbase banning accounts they detected as sending to bookmakers. Gemini and ItBit have the same style license as Coinbase and will be subject to the same laws. I have not heard of Gemini closing an account so you can probably risk it if you want... but with the network working fast now, its not that inconvenient.

And yes, your blockchain wallet is fine to use with any other person/company.

Thanks. So Coinbase is good as long as not sending directly to the books and using blockchain as the middle man.

yup. If you bet a couple times a year, you don't need to IMO. Otherwise, why take the chance?
