    unacceptable situation with sportsbetting.ag.

    yesterday a sum of money was taken out of my account. That was about 34 hours ago. They sent me an email "Just a brief note to inform we’ve debited your account $xxxxx due to wagers erroneously graded. Our apologies for any inconvenience."

    i emailed them back 6 hours later asking them what wager. They ask for an unacceptable 24 hours to figure that out. (should take 10 minutes tops). I patiently wait 24 hours for them to respond back to me. that time passes. I go to live chat now and they have no answer. So money was taken out of my account 34 hours ago and nobody can tell me why.They now have no time frame to give me a proper answer.

    I dont think they are thieves. I think they just have about as bad customer service as a company can possibly be.
    Its not a large sum of money. Its not nothing, but its more the principal of the matter. If after 34 hours you have no clue why the $ was taken out, add it back to the account pending further investgation. Or do something to make me feel like I am being treated fairly here. I am trying so hard to come up with a way this is acceptable from their end. I cannot.

    I mean there is a name attached to that original email I got. Who told that person to send it? I guess maybe the person who sent that email quit/fired/left the country and they are stuck? Is there another possible explanation here?

    Thats not the point right now...... Money missing from my account with 0 legitimate explanation is the point. Im pretty sure there have a legitimate reason for this but they gotta tell me why! And its something that should not take more than 5 minutes on live chat. 36 hours is unacceptable unless they planned on flying to me and giving me the reason in person.

    Many times they misgrade props, and then figure it out later, and this is why it was taken out.

    They should be able to tell you that.

    I mean how pathetic is this that a complaint would be necessary. They just need to treat customers with some decent respect. Like my last issue, this should have been resolved in 1 quick live chat session. We are now approaching 48 hours.

    I should note, it's GREAT that they sent me an email notifying me of the missing $. Some books would not do that. But I mean, come on. If you are able to send that email, you have the ability to tell me specifically why the $$ is missing.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Have you checked the settlement of your recent wagers? Do you have reason to believe they are mistaken or you think they are probably right and just want to know which wagers were adjusted (understandable)?

    Can you put in the complaint like Optional asked so we can ask management to take a look on your behalf?

    There transaction history is an absolute mess to look at. The amount taken out was the max allowed of most prop bets of which I place a ton. It would be very hard for me to figure out which of the wagers they are referring to. They dont even give me a timeframe. It could be a wager from 5 years ago for all I know.

    Who knows if they are mistaken or not. I assume it is legit, but 50 hours since the money was taken out, no explanation? I started a thread recently on them grading wagers of mine wrong but if they dont tell me what wager they are referring to I cannot double check to see if they are being sloppy again. Thats not fair to me. I should not have to file a complaint in order to get some halfway decent service. I will file a complaint eventually when I have time but it shouldnt come to that.

    You would think it would be standard procedure to send an email or account memo immediately notifying a customer that such and such a wager was regraded for such and such a reason. I know I had one regraded at pinnacle not too long ago and that's what happen. It's not rocket science. Sportbetting.ag comes of as a mickey mouse book with shit like this.

    Recently you had a prop wager corrected in your favor (loss corrected to no action) due to a pitcher being scratched. Is it possible that Sportsbetting.ag went over all your baseball props to confirm starting pitchers and corrected them accordingly? This may be the source of the adjustment they did. Regardless, you are entitled to an accounting for this action IMO.

    BOL customer service is very bad but they usually do the right thing. And even do the wrong thing at times when they should stand pat when dealing with issues with certain customers through SBR.

    I had an experience with them that was my own fault and they reversed everything and even reversed a blacklisting. The whole thing was fairly ridiculous but ended OK.

    Definitely recommend working through it and you should be able to get results by moving up the management level or dealing with SBR which will probably save you some trouble. BOL does not leave SBR issues hanging.

    Anything is possible. I doubt your scenario is what happened (that they looked at all my past bets. mine and mine only). But because its been over 2 days and they will not tell me the wager in question, i cannot confirm or deny anything. More than anything, the speed at which they are treating this situation is so bizarre. I cannot fathom how 2 days later they are unable to tell me the wager in question.

    Customer service reps can't answer questions. You have to get past the front line which is not easy.

    I have expressed very little doubt here that the issue will eventually be resolved fairly. But the fact that I need sbr to help me find out the reason money is missing 2 days later is not right. I am very eager to deal with them and get this resolved but they have given me almost no info! If they are correct in taking away the money, great! show me what wager and lets all move on with our lives. I mean really it should not take much more than 5 minutes.

    Many things should be different. You have to deal with how things are.

    Thanks to SBR for getting them to answer me. The story checks out and I was given proper explanation for the missing funds. I am still severely disappointed that it took this long and this much effort to get a simple answer on money taken out of my account.
