Betcris incredibly increased juice in-play tennis ??? (game win)

    hello guys!
I've just had a look today at betcris tennis prices (in play),and... waouh !!! I can't believe what i see! tell me if i'm wrong but up to now margin/juice was nearly 5 %, wasn't it ? I know they already had increased their juice sometimes in the past (something like 8%), but at the end they always had come back to about 5%, which is correct margin. But today what i see is just unbelievable !?: they increased their margin to 12 % !!! Is that serious? Who's gonna use their lines with so big margin? Their prices are ridiculous ! that's not for all markets. For what i can see today that only concerns their "game win " market. At the moment for instance player A 1,40 / player B 2,50 ! Is that serious??
I hardly believe they increased their margin to 12 % and i'm wondering if that may be a particular restriction on my account? Could you please have a look at a tennis match in play on betcris (anymatch you want) and tell me what margin you see on "game win " market??

    3.94% in this one

    And 3.88% in this one

Whats your math for coming up with 11%?

Sorry i think you didn't read my whole message Optionnal: i precised that concerned only a precise market: "game win". For example who's gonna win game 5? game 6?...
Could you check for that market please?

    Oh I read it all.

Just typing the margin in the player to win the next game has increased from 8% to11% would have been more clear and 150 less words.

Anyway... thanks for the heads up.

You're right i could have done "shorter" lol. But i was so astonished seing that.. In fact margin didn't increase from 8 to 11% optionnal, that increased from 5 to 11% in a day as i said ! yesterday lines were 1.9 / 1.9. They're now 1.8 / 1.8 ?!? just unbelievable.

    That is a bigger difference.

I can only guess the live betting operator was being hammered on that market and would like less action.

I'll link your thread to the tennis forum to help others notice.

Again, thanks for pointing it out.

Big juice is to protect their action from pros, not nesseserly to get more $$$Mayby someone hit them hard
Why the hell you use bookies and their sick margin instead of using betfair?

Why?? LOL. Simply because some bookmakers propose some types of bets that betfair doesn't offer unfortunately ! Have you ever seen betfair proposing "game win" market (in-play tennis), for example "who will win game 5 of set1 / game 6..."?? you've got the answer to your question.

mmm... very surprising from Betcris indeed... I can understand they may have been hit hard on that market, but in that case, if they want to protect themselves, they should rather stop proposing that market/type of bets, because proposing it with such ridiculous prices is not acceptable from a top bookmaker like betcris.

There is always more juice inplay

Look at Pinnacle, they have the best offplay odds, but take big margins inplay.

    Can't agree more
I would not bet inplay anywhere else
On big markets at Betfair, you will get 1.50 vs 3.00 which means no margin on odds, only the commission but which is low enough.
That is a big advantage over any other bookie.

I won't count the likes of 1xbet and marathon who sometimes set wrong odds but will limit you quickly, they are not serious companies.

And what if you bet other markets besides moneyline (tennis) ?
Betfair has no propositions on markets like "to win a game", or "Total games" etc

Indeed, so Betfair is not for everyone. I usually stick to ML.
