    I'll set up my phone as a hotspot to test it out in a bit. But I have seen same issues on all connections over past few months. And some issues have been around for years. Betonline and sportsbetting are only websites I use where I sometimes see my password in plain text when typing in password box. That issue has been going on for 5-8 years. Doesnt happen every day but def every month, probably almost every week.

    the logging out today is worse than usual. about 10 times logged out (or never logged in) in 90 seconds. I am unable to set up a hotspot with my phone right now but will attempt later today. But i have had these issues on the 4 different internet connections i access my account from so I am not hopeful a 5th one will do the trick.

    so logging on through a hotspot was better. but not great. I still entered my username/password on the main screen and it did not log me on the 1st attempt. I had to log on again. But it did not log me out after a few clicks which normally does happen on the wifi (and other wifis I have used). This was a small sample size of course (just 2 minutes). But this doesnt help me as I cannot use my phones hotspot consistently to access the website. What would my next step be here??

    Try it a few times on and off when you have problems to make sure. Then you could ask your ISP to manually set a new route between your IP and betonline.ag. This isn't a big thing for them to do if you can get onto 2nd level tech support. Or getting them to renew your IP might be another thing worth trying first as you wont have to explain much. Just say your current IP is setting off a websites DDOS protection and can they please change it for you.

    You could try asking Betonline to whitelist your IP with their DDOS service (not confident they do this or would have been doing it for people already I think).

    I agree. All books need to try harder helping people with tech difficulties really. Just one person CS send all tech problems to at least.

    This is the first time I have posted about this but I can say its not there connection, it has to be something with Betonline. I am actually at the point where I don't know what else to do. Don't try to tell me to clear my cookies or computer either, its the same result on most stuff or other computers, browsers, etc, my computer is hardwired into my router also. This is the only site I have issues like this. I have never really said anything bad about Betonline but this crap has been going on since April, and I'm beyond annoyed now. Don't you think its about time they get this fixed? I love using this book but I can't deal with this bs anymore.

    What the hell is going on? Go to login, I login and everything is working. When I go to click on the bets I want to place and submit it logs me off or gives me an error page.

    Thanks for the suggestion. If it's due to anti-DDOS implementation, it must be a lousy one. I believe all A+ books if not all books have anti-DDOS implementation in place, but BOL is the only book with this issue. And the thing is, it just keeps logging you out randomly, sometimes even during the confirming bets stage, and it allows you to login afterwards, it might take several tries though. So doesn't look like anti-DDOS to me.

    Well so much for getting bets down later tonight. Lame. It doesn't surprise me at all if they are facing DDOS attacks since they accept players in all 50 states. WOuldn't surprise me if these attacks were coming from someone besides some random hacker trying to extort money.

    Yup, that's pretty normal for BetOnline. I tend to have a similar problem when attempting to login as well. Login roulette, I believe someone called it. Things were actually moderately reliable for a while (and by moderately reliable I mean I would only occasionally have this problem), but it seems to have gotten particularly bad the past couple of days. If you're looking for a reliable web site, sadly, BetOnline ain't the place to be looking.

    I have this login problem with BOL along with everyone I know. It doesn’t matter if I’m using my laptop at home using my cable internet connection or if I’m using my cell phone anywhere in greater Los Angeles. And it’s gotten much worse lately.

    The same here. A online sportsbook is not able to come up with a reliable website and is not able to solve this IT-related problem? Definitely a red flag to me and it may lead to bigger problem in the future. Really hope SBR could escalate this issue to BOL upper management and have it fixed.

    I did not mean to suggest the connection/DDOS stuff is the only problem.

    But it makes sense it could be that based on being kicked out so often to me. And is worth trying when the situation gets bad.

    Plus, saying your connection route is the problem is not putting blame on you. It's still their system creating false positives if it is that.

    volume of complaints may be down, but how many are like me that have just given up? I have accepted that if/when I want to use my account it will take me multiple log ins. that if i only have 1 minute before a game starts, 95% of time betonline/sportsbetting will not be able to take my bet. need 3 minutes to be comfortable. I just accept that it is what it is.

    Their DDoS software limited you because they think your computer is trying to load too many times (creating a DoS issues) or your IP address was associated with their infamous DoS issues months ago. It'll let you back on after awhile.

    My personal experience: this weekend I was finally paid on my LeBron to the Lakers bet so I logged in today to place an MLB bet and it took 5 logins to get the bet in.

    I will try that. I may have malware on my computer. But what are the odds every computer I have used has had malware? I literally bought the current computer I type on in the last 2-3 months. The day I bought it i hooked up to the internet for afternoon baseball games to wager. I literally had trouble logging onto betonline right away. just like my old computer. that very moment i became pretty dam confident the issue is not with my pcs.

    That happens when you refresh these sister sites too many times in a set period of time. And users tend to do that when they’re battling the site’s stupid login issue. The software will let you back in after a while. Just slow down with the refreshes, and it shouldn’t happen again.

    Unfortunately they closed my account a couple of months ago, which is a pain in the ass not being able to test things when people post. But I never had any logon issues myself before that.
