    WagerHub...Is there any update from them or input from SBR???

    I know this technically goes in the 'Sportsbooks and the Industry" subforum, but I was hoping for a better response here.

    There's a lengthy thread in the subforum that started with their no-deposit $300 freeplay bonus and progressed over the past couple months as that promo ended and others began. The pay-outs, though not 'next day' as advertised, seemed to be pretty reliable, and overall people had good feedback about their general quality as a book. It was made clear that they are new and thus not rated by SBR, which is always a risk of course, but they seemed to be well on their way to establishing themselves as reputable businessmen. Then, over the past few weeks, a player had a dispute claiming a $9k balance was stolen from him for being 'non-recreational,' and after many conversations with reps from the book and SBR, claimed it was a misunderstanding and he was going to be paid.

    About two months ago, I made a deposit, got a freeplay, and lost both. A few weeks ago, I was in contact with Chuck at Wagerhub, who was all over the forums in December/January, about making another deposit. After the above-mentioned dispute, neither he nor anyone else at WH are anywhere to be found. My last email never received a response.

    Is there any kind of update or closure on this book and everything that has transpired? I fully realize that they are not rated by SBR, that is clear, and the risks associated with doing business at any unrated book. But I'm just curious if they ever resolved the dispute, if Chuck still works there, if anyone is still depositing, getting paid, etc. Just looking for any kind of substantive update going forward.

    I stated this in another thread regarding wagerhub that I deposited with them and about a week later took a payout for twice what I put in and there were no problems at all , everything went smooth and Tom stayed in contact with me every step of the way , letting me know the status on my request and called me as soon as the ** was sent , I have no complaints...I still use them today...

    Although to be fair, I did recieve a $300 cashout off the free-play with no problem at all, but I was one of the first ones. After that, everything went downhill from there.

    Thanks for posting fellas, just gave everyone points.

    So, to summarize: 1) everyone that played early got paid quickly, 2) people are still playing there, 3) the player who had $9k temporarily confiscated is now being paid $2500 per week, 4) no one knows if Chuck still works there, since he is no longer posting on the forum, 5) they have entered the SBR ratings at a D-, which is normal for a new book until it builds confidence and moves up in the ratings over time.

    For those that have deposited recently, who handled your transaction since Chuck is MIA?

    I was paid via moneybookers once from the 300 $ free. It was long long conversation with the CS but after 1 week they paid me. Haven't been there since then.

    I talked with Tom today for a bit and questioned him about why so many players have been complaining about payouts and such. He also went to bat for me with the manager and got me a better deal than advertised for a bonus but I went with betonline instead. I have used BetPhoenix and BetMania for the past year but things are not going so well there now. Chuck was not at work today but will be in tomorrow. They called me twice later to see if I wanted to deposit. They must need cash to send a payout to another player.

    Hey Bill , supposedly according to Gia you and the book are great friends. Anyway, guys as stated earlier, I gave up but I want you to know that I am a regular guy and have played overseas for 15 years...They are stiffing me $3161 and it has been since Dec. 21. No word or email from anyone except to make threats to me regarding my posting on sites such as SBR but I feel it is my duty to protect players. They may pay once small but if then well........Bill if you can help me please do, I could use the $3k

    Hey Rob, you may not like Fatty but let me tell ya bro, you and I got no beef and I haven't hurt a soul.....they stuck me....do the right thing and protect players. They haven't paid me and it has been 2 months and they have no plans to pay me and I have no recourse other than to try and get others not to DEPOSIT

    Ok.. we have heard all these issues from two guys only ... I wonder if there are anymore out there and why havent they come forward. THey have always paid me on time and I hate to see that people who are not even playing with WagerHub right now... are trashing the book and it's people over some betpoints.. only so that they can trade them for something nice. I would not have the nerve to talk bad about something I havent experienced.... You are all trashing a good book that has great people in it.... only because one guy has a bad review.. DO WE REALLY KNOW IF THESE GUYS WHO COMPLAINT ARE TELLING THE TRUTH??? Do we know the whole story... Have you spoken to both ends before concluding that what is being said is actually the truth????

    whatsgood5... you say everything went well as far as your payment so... why would you say the book is a joke based on what someone you dont know said...??? Are you 100% what he is saying is a fact? Do you know all the details? Must be nice taking free money from a book as they paid you winnings from a free play and not actual money you sent and yet trash them.. I would understand it from a loyal customer who then all of the sudden didnt get paid but.. from a free play player??? Come on... I think you guys are doing more harm than it is deserved..... Dont mean to be rude to anyone but at this point I would have expected everyone to move on rather than keep on posting bad reviews on someone else's behalf. And no.. dont know anyone there but have spoken to Tom several times as he is my VIP host and I have no complaints about his CS representation nor my payments.....

    Tom seems like a nice guy but he lied to me and said Chuck would be in tomorrow when he actually left the book. Why lie to a player about something so small? He did go to bat for me and got me a sweeter deal on a bonus than advertised but I didnt send money because they called me 3 times asking me to and that scares me.

    Wbranch, have you filed a complaint here? (see my sig). That often seems to help shake some $$ loose.

    For other players, it might help if you could give a bit more detail: what sum (ballpark) payout did you request? by what method? what reason(s) have they given for the delay?

    Ummm....I haven't been paid Chuck! This book is a complete joke. They closed my account for non-recreational play and I haven't received $4,100 of the 9k that I won from them. They haven't sent me a payment for 3 weeks now after agreeing to make a payment to me every single week!

    It wasn't for a reason Chuck! I have called Gia SEVERAL times and she refuses to pay. You guys first closed out my account because you claimed I was a "non-recreational" player. Then, months later, after only paying me half of my 9k, you guys discontinue to pay me because you claim that you guys "all of a sudden" found 40+ IP's on my account! After researching the IP's, if you live close to Canada and have a Verizon BlackBerry, it will assign you Canadian IP's and they use a dynamic IP system, so the IP's that they assign you change all the time. If you just do a simple lookup, you can see that those addresses are all from a blackberry and google verizon and blackberry and you will see that showing a Canadian IP while in the US is very common among BlackBerry users on the Verizon network. I have given Gia months to pay me and she continues to make promises to pay that she is not keeping. I told her that if she didn't start to send me payments, that I would post on here to protect other players. She told me to go ahead and post because she refuses to pay people that "cheat" and try to take money that they don't deserve! You guys are the only cheaters here and I am sick and tired of being lied to and played with by you guys!
