    They all should be.

From the outside the giftcard system looks like a scam where the issuer is encouraging/enabling crime as a profit center.

I wonder if Glidera will be available in more states now that it has been bought by Kraken?

Customer Service quick to respond during verification process. Once I sent the wire it's just crickets. I'm sure I'll get it, but not a good start. Hoping I don't have to wait the entire weekend now.

If it doesn't hit Saturday morning I doubt you will see it before Monday now.

i would advise people to stay clear of Paxful. I was trading on there last year and made some decent money. There are unfortunately a lot of scammers. i had transactions reversed and lost money. Avoid Venmo & Paypal like the plague. They will steal your money and send you an email closing your account. All anyone has to do is dispute a transaction after it has been completed on Paxful, and your account will get frozen and closed by Paypal/Venmo.

i have been trading Bitcoins for a few years. Ive used Circle and Coinbase as well as Liberty X. its getting more difficult with the IRS investigating coinbase and with new providers also asking for intrusive verification. id rather use coinbase with a rewards credit card and pay the fees than expose anymore personal info than i have to. i also like using LibertyX. Ive found that i can usually negotiate these fees with books like bookmaker, betdsi, and heritage before i make the deposit.

I just don't appreciate the lack of communication. I don't care if it takes ten days. Point is I was getting e-mail responses within 5 minutes during verification process on Thursday. I sent the Wire Thursday afternoon. I sent two messages early Friday asking if they received it and nobody responded the entire day. Once this first one goes through I'll be more comfortable, but this is first time I don't usually wire so I just want some kind of peace of mind its going through but can take a couple days, or something... any kind of response.

Can I ask what you had to do to get the first wire fee refunded?

Still pending ACH verification....no one available via phone. Received response via email stating I should be able to use ACH but it is not available for me. Sent another email and no response...pretty poor customer service.

That sucks. Hopefully it's a holiday staffing issue. I checked out indepedentreserve.com. It doens't look all that promising, since they charge 0.5% commission on all trades and the bid/ask spread is usually around 2%. Paying 1.5% on average seems excessive.

I've been able to buy and sell at better than the Bitstamp rate each time I've used them. Net after trading commission. I have just asked for a little better than price I see and been filled within 20 or 30 mins each time.

Well, did the market move into your offer, or did you keep adjusting it to stay on top of the order book?

I just looked at the Bitstamp price and added/deducted about 1% and just left it until filled each time.

Actually, it may not have been better than Bitstamp at the moment the order was filled come to think. But I get the price I want I guess. Better than I would have got at somewhere like Coinbase if I had ordered at same moment I put offer up.

Finally approved for ACH transfers with Gemini. Maybe it was just a Holiday delay....took a while to get things set up. Will update with ACH time transfers over the next few weeks.

So im trying out gemini and deposited via "instant" ACH on tuesday and i still can't move my BTC because it hasn't cleared their bank. Christ, this is ridiculous. Thank god BTC has been going up or i'd lose money.

You can always just convert it back to usd for pretty cheap if you are worried about BTC fluctuations (at $2.50 per $1000....not too bad a fee). If it has been in BTC since Tuesday....you did just fine!
Yep...realized quickly that "instant" simply allows you to covert deposited usd to btc or vice versa for trading purposes. They still make you wait 4-5 days for it to clear before you can move it out of Gemini. So....not a quick or "instant" way to buy BTC. The limits I have are $500/day, $15,000/month. Conversion fees are 25 bps, so pretty cheap to covert and free to transfer money to and from bank account. They seem to buy/sell a few dollars higher than bitstamp....so they look like a cheap place to get your money out. However, the cheapest cash out method is the bitpay card via purchasing $ orders at WalMart for .70 cents.

What's the next best after coinbase, they took my bank account instant buy from $1000 to $0. I've had nothing but issues trying to make instant purchases with those guys.

Gemini.com is an alternative but not instant. You need to fund it with what you need ahead of time so it can clear.

    Localbitcoins.com, Paxful.com and Wallofcoins.com are other possibilities.

You can get $1050 here instantly and easily http://buy.bitcoin.com/ but it will cost you around 9%

Best to ask them directly to make sure.

People were sending to old wallet addresses when they first announced the changes but have not heard of anyone doing that in recently.

Similar to gemini...3-4 day wait on deposits and charge 50 bps fee....twice the rate of gemini to convert to btc. Take 2-3 days to send money back to account.

If you are in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee or Texas.

https://www.coinmama.com/ is another card place. You lose about 10% in exchange premium with a card there.
