    Betus payout (Real person)

I'm aware Betus has a bad reputation. I usually use 5dimes.I lost a lot at 5Dimes and got a call from Betus. I got sucked into the bonus. Two points. 1.) I requsted a card they are sending to withdraw 5k. 2. Has anyone used this before?

I will keep everyone posted on the payout.

    Dont let me down Betus

    Thanks guys

Betus is like a sweatshop. They basically prey on people stumbling onto them or people trying to get huge bonus. It's ridiculous

So you are "aware Betus has a bad reputation", but you still managed to get yourself "sucked into the bonus"?!

You got one thing one right by finding out that BetUS has a bad reputation, but what you then needed to do is to have acted on that finding and to have then made sure you never went near BetUS. Saying you got sucked into the bonus simply isn't good enough. You need to be way stronger than that and if these shysters call you up, tell them in no uncertain terms where to go, but rather than do that, you gave in to their sales tactics, and that's just not good enough whatsoever.

It's way too late to be asking questions about BetUS' withdrawal options now and asking BetUS "don't let me down", as they've got you by the knackers now with your money in their possession and you're in the lap of the gods now. In the situation you're in now, if you're going to get stiffed, then you're going to get stiffed, it's as simple as that, no amount of pleading to them from you is going to change that one bit and there's nothing you can do about it if they are going to stiff you, of which there is a significant chance of that happening with scammers like BetUS. The time where you had full control and could have preventing this from happening was before you in your wisdom got bullied into signing up with these cowboys.

If you get your money from this mob, thank your lucky stars and go and play at some proper bookmakers. If you get stiffed, take it as an extremely expensive lesson for the future on not to get bullied by salesmen and to play with the big bookmakers.

I don't get this thread. Betus has been around forever. If they are such a scam operation like some people claim why are they still around? I have been playing offshore since the late 90's and can remember when betus had ads in magazines. For some reason I never got an account with them so honestly I don't know. But if they are such a scam operation how have they stuck around so long? I'm curious.

You could say the same with other operations like Sportsbook.ag, Oddsmaker.ag and others that are still active when they are obviously complete scams or have massive cashflow problems.

It is usually that they have a good name for search engines which BetUS and also the other two I mentioned do and a lot of idiots just sign up with the first bookmaker that comes up on the search engine without any research, they do a lot of high pressure cold call and e-mail sales tactics that ropes another percentage of the ill-informed and uneducated, and some of these scam books pay websites and forums to display their site as one of the "top sportsbooks" and all of this crap and gullible people are taken in by that. A combination of all of these tactics usually gives these types of bookmakers enough idiotic customers to just about keep them in business.

Anybody that does proper research and acts on the findings of that research wouldn't go near any of these types of bookmakers, but the reality is that only a very small proportion of punters come to websites like SBR and actually do proper research before they sign up with a bookmaker, and the rest that they don't bother with any of that are simply fresh meat to get scammed by these predatory bookmakers.

There are way more idiots in this world than smart people, so these kinds of bookmakers carry on by simply continually targeting and hooking in the gullible and the idiotic, and that's why they are still in business.

Makes sense. I never did understand why people play with places like that. I guess like you said the majority of people don't research who they decide to sign up with. I have been fortunate enough to have never been stiffed by an online book. Of course I have always researched books first before I post up with them. I have dealt with books who pay quicker than others and that is always the first thing I go by when rating a book.
