Lines on TopBet were totally off on college football this week. That site is a disaster. They are starting to look shaky.

They won't even look into it.

All they say is we posted 0 for the total and you bet under 0 and it lost, too bad.

They were showing off lines but when you put in the bet, it was shown correctly. You probably put it in a bet thinking it was the other number. Don't know if that is an intentional trick to get people to bet wrong numbers or if the software is just that bad.

I don't know how much of a hint you need that a bookmaker is on the verge of or already the stage of being broke and therefore realise it is an horrific idea to bet with them. Even if there was a bookie named "scamsrus", you would probably "give them a try to see how you go". You really are dumb or deluded or both by continuing to bet with TopBet when you know they are in dire straits. Absolutely ludicrous, you've only got yourself to blame if you continue to bet with TopBet and inevitably get stiffed by them at some point. Do yourself a favour, put in a withdrawal for your full balance at TopBet, then you can only hope, and in the meantime go and find some proper bookmakers to play at where you know they will pay you.

TopBet is showing some concerning signs. The inability to pay out in recent months was due to CC processor problems which Bovada and Bookmaker experienced. That was not that big a deal.

They owe a couple of people small balances which are not that much of a concern at this point. They could just be having processor problems. Even a bust book could pay out $5,000.

They have paid reliably in the past so they may be OK and just having to work through some issues. The CC thing was out of their control. Recent bonus offers were pretty aggressive but TopBet has done similar in the past.

It is certainly possible that TopBet is in trouble but probably not all that likely.

The software definitely has issues. They have a bad web site with lots of problems. It doesn't necessarily mean anything except they need an upgrade.

I didn't say that you just deposited when they started slow-paying, I was commenting on you continuing to bet with them after you knew they were slow-paying.

You should be requesting the full balance now to try and get as far to the front of the queue as possible and if in the meantime TopBet bring in Bitcoin then they should allow you to cancel your withdrawal and re-request it by Bitcoin. Even if you choose not to do that and leave your balance sitting there hoping that they bring in Bitcoin at some point, you simply shouldn't be placing any further bets with them at all. Even at $20-$50 stakes, if you have a good run you can still build up another $500-$1000 pretty easily and surely you don't want to tie up another load of money like that which is being held hostage by TopBet and if TopBet do go under as they inevitably will at some point and if that results in them stiffing you, then you continuing to bet with them is risking you being stiffed for an even higher amount than you would have been stiffed for if you had stopped betting with them.

So you should be doing one of two things, requesting a full withdrawal of your balance and see how it plays out whether you get your withdrawal at all, either by your normal method or Bitcoin, or if you choose to leave your balance sitting there and hoping to withdraw by Bitcoin at some point, you should leave your balance sitting there without placing any further bets and therefore not risking building your hostaged up balance at TopBet any further and getting yourself into further trouble. The first of these actions is very much the common sense action to take.

Whilst you are waiting to see if you receive your withdrawal or wait to see if they add Bitcoin, go and place your bets at some proper bookmakers.

One thing you definitely shouldn't be doing whilst TopBet are having such troubles is placing any further bets with them as however low your stake, continuing to bet with them in this situation is downright stupid.

Lucky you. Hopefully that's all of your balance out of TopBet. If it isn't, you should request a withdrawal for the rest of your money immediately so you have a chance of getting all of your money out of there before they go completely belly up.

You should see this is a lucky escape, and now go and do some proper research and bet at some proper bookmakers.

UPDATE

After 10 frustrating days of trying to explain the situation to customer service reps who don't understand, I was finally able to speak to someone with common sense.

They have agreed to refund my stake.
