Banned from YouWager.EU as a "risk" account - any help?

This one I really don't understand, maybe some of you can help out.

I went on to youwager.eu to make a little pre-season NFL bet and my account was closed! When I called them, they told me to call back on Monday to speak to a manager, and when I did I was told that "upper" management had determined suspicious activity and deemed me a "risk account". Can anybody tell me why?

    I deposit $500 once a year for the NFL. I bet $20 to $50 a game. Last year I lost the $500.

I logged in a couple of months ago and found a $75 free play from Christmas, and used that to play Euro Cup and ended up losing that.

I claimed my net loss bonus of $45 free play a couple of weeks ago and had turned that into $35 cash when they closed my account.

The year before last, I turned my $500 into $900 and cashed out.

How is this a risk account? It's probably no big deal - there are a number of good books out there, but this pisses me off. I've used youwager.eu for about 5 years and referred a couple of people to them as well. Interested in any thoughts out there.

    Hi scotdc,

It's a good question to ask YouWager directly. It sounds like from your closing sentence you might have your answer if any of those buddies caused the sportsbook trouble?

Feel free to write in to help@sportsbookreview.com if you'd like us to ask on your behalf.

Probably is related to people you referred. If you ever used the same computer that is probably the reason or were betting the same games.

Hmm, didn't think about my friend - I'll have to see if he's banned as well - he didn't mention anything. I did email the "upper" management, but never got a response.

Oh well, not a real big deal as all I had in there was some free play money. Plenty of books out there have to give one of them like Heritage or BetDSI a try.

No we never used the same computer - we don't live in the same house or even same ZIP code for that matter. Maybe we bet the same games, I really don't know. Thanks for the insight though.

Do you guys bet the same games????? If the total amount of all your bets on the same game approaches their limits, it could be determined to be suspicious and therefore closed........

Does your friend know your account number? Maybe he got desperate one day and asked CS to transfer money from your account to his? Or maybe he tried logging on several times but was never successful at it, and youwager found it suspicious?

It's nothing to do with the payouts for sure. Youwager paid me over $52K last year, with $3k a week with money orders. The only F'd up thing they did to me was limited my "rolling if bet" wagers, when I wasn't allowed to use that service anywhere online. The only way I can do a rolling if bet now 9is if I call in....which isn't an issue at all. Youwager is an extremely solid book. I actually have direct contact with one of the owners, who is one of the nicest guys ever. His email is "freddy@youwager.eu" I'm only giving yo uthis because it seems management doesn't have a valid excuse to ban your account...

Email freddy and he will do all he can to help.

Never have I heard of a site punishing a customer because of who they refer. That's an idiotic conclusion.
