I would be happy if they would just quit "evaluating" my bets, then refusing to take it

Obviously I can't speak for SBR, but seeing their rating lowered soon wouldn't surprise me at all.
No it is not removed, its still there, take another look

Im happy SBR is transparent with this topic, gives the increased creditibility. I do however hope 5dimes comes out of this unharmed. Everyday Heritage looks better and better I must say!

The real question in this money laundering scheme is how the affiliates are paid. Players can withdraw funds with bitcoins. Are affiliates paid with bitcoins too or do they get paid cash? If it's cash then some type of money laundering occurs behind the scenes.

If 5Dimes was a US company or on US soil they might be illegal but the USA doesn't get to make laws for me or CR or the other 90% of the world's population. Just those lucky enough to live in the land of the free Transferring money to US citizens alone is not ML. All the money could be properly accounted for and tax paid out here in the real world so no tricks required.

I think the problem with 5D and other offshore companies who got in trouble with the US is citizenship of ownership. If the owners are US citizens who have assets in the US and are operating an offshore gambling company which generates profits offshore but the ownership acquires assets in the US with that income the Feds will go after you. There are laws in place to prevent this from happening.

I'd be very upset if 5d went belly up.. So they owe some back money.. That book is a cash cow from all the gambling business they do.. I don't think they are going anywhere.. One of the best books out there IMO... My money stays in...

They don't owe anything to Costa Rica's version of social security. It was a bad line.

hmm, i saw this thread and alarm bells sounded for the second time the first time was last week and again today. i have an acct there but not yet funded. when i clicked on their live chat to get answers to various Qs a rep named Rory was helpful but was unclear about one thing so he transferred the chat to another person (Joshua) who then INSISTED that i must give my username AND password to talk via live chat! The password to enter my acct??? WTF??? as i said this happened last week too. i chat fine with the first person but then when they transfer me i get this! is insisting on my acct password common practice among reputable books??? how could non-acct holders who are thinking of joining get answers from them via LiveChat if they insist on getting their password to the acct???

Yeah, think similar. From all I have read it sounds like a spat between a couple of rich/powerful Costa Ricans at the heart of the newspaper stories.

ok, thanks although today while investigating several potential books my findings thus far are that NONE of the following insisted on my username & password to my acct before they would answer my questions about opening/funding/withdrawals (only 5d does, and then only after allowing a chat first): theGreek, Pinnacle, Heritage, bet365, BetOnline.eg, and William Hill ....all A+ rated books do NOT insist on a password to an account in order to discuss with them.

The US facing books are a bit different. A lot of people have your reaction at first but it really is how they work.

ok, thanks it appears then that i should stick strictly to those other A+ rated books. no way will i tell any rep/chat agent the real password to my acct. too many bad things could happen with that. not wise, even if that is the way many lower rated books may choose to operate. 5d is only A+ rated book on SBR's list that DOES discuss with me answering all my questions freely, then transfers me to a different agent who insists he can't chat unless i give him the password to my account oh well,

I'd still like to know why 5Dimes appears at the top of this page under the posters poll but not to the right under SBR top rated sportsbooks?

I beleive all the payment success you above speak of and am on the side that 5 Dimes is currently fine. I just want to know why SBR has removed them at the top right of this page? I can't believe there isn't any discussion of why SBR doesn't feel they should be graded/rated at this moment.

I don`t use them, but if I understand correctly they are A+, and there is NO higher rating!

If they weathered the storm...UPGRADE rating please

anyone that comments about 5dimes or sbr (other than sbr) has to be a clueless retard living in their mommie's basement

maybe the 17k for this month didn't hit the old sbr bank account in a timely fashion, maybe sbr wanted to stay off the radar, who knows... but 5dimes is back on the list at A+ and sportbet is still on there at A
