    Guts sportsbook.

I wanna say thank you to Guts sportsbook . I actually found them trough SBR with a good review and most important quoting SBR
Unlike some other betting sites using Oddsmatrix, Guts.com has their own risk management department, odds monitoring employees, line managers, and active management.

I took on very generous bonus offer :
    1. The maximum bonus amount permitted per player or account is $100.2. Only new customers that open an account with Guts and make a first deposit can receive the bonus.
    3. This Bonus is only available for customers from Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
    4. To claim the welcome bonus or any deposit bonus the player must enter the promotion code in the appropriate field prior to making a successful deposit. For example, to claim the 100% welcome bonus, GUTSSPORTS must be entered into the promotion code field. GUTSSPORTS can only be claimed on the first deposit.
    5. Both the qualifying deposit and the bonus money will be considered as bonus funds up until the wagering requirements are fulfilled.

    6. The bonus + deposit must be wagered a minimum of 5 times on any Sportsbook bet (Including Livebetting) with an odds of 1.5 or higher before you can withdraw or play with these money on other products than Sportsbook.
    7. Example: If you deposit $100 and get the full bonus you receive $100 in bonus and have in total $200 to bet for in Sportsbook. You need to wager this 5 times (5 x $200 = $1000) to odds 1.5 or more before you can make a withdrawal or play in other products

Got credited deposit + the bonus right away . Lost it all
Few days later got an email with another bonus offer
    VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV

Let the fun continue with 50% bonus

*General bonus terms & conditions apply

So i made another deposit of $100 . My new balance $150 , tried to place some wagers and i couldn't , my funds are been locked in Casino . On live chat i was that this offer is for casino play only . I was offered to forfeit my bonus and move my funds to sportsbook .
I said fine . I pointed out that i don't play casinos and the offer is misleading .
A day later i wrote an email to costumer service and pointed them out that they should state that this particular offer is only good for the casino play .

I looked at the offer at least 5 times and i couldn't figure out who is wrong and who is right .

    The bonus offer of 50%
    B. If you have received a 50% deposit bonus:
The bonus + deposit must be wagered a minimum of 4 times on any Sportsbook bet (Including Livebetting) with an odds of 1.5 or higher before you can withdraw or play with these money on other products than Sportsbook. It is not possible to place a bet with bonus funds below the minimum odds stated for the bonus.

Today i received an email, in good faith Guts credited my account $50
I didn't wanna make a complain case i gave a benefit of doubt .And costumer service was anything but great. I had to go on live chat twice and had not had to wait more then 5 min to talk to a live agent .

    Guts benefits :
One of the first books to post lines on the lower EU basketball leagues with an option to buy sell points. Same for volleyball and handball early lines tons of options .

Thing is i wrote a simple email and pointed them out on where they might be wrong . They could of simply toss my email out .

Stop being so lazy and register an account yourself and then you can have a look yourself at a few markets and you will see what sort of limits they have.

Of course they limit individual accounts for goodness sake. There are only a select few bookmakers in the entire world that don't limit anybody, and Guts most certainly is not one of them.

Yes they do. Just in case: if you are looking for a bookmaker that won't limit you, but where you can take advantage of slow moving or bad lines, it does not exist.

Why do those select few bookies even exist though? Why not just follow the rest of them?

Do some research online on Pinnacle and similar sharp bookmakers and you'll get an idea as to why they want to attract the smart money and not turn it away, as opposed to recreational bookmakers who only want idiots, mugs and addicts. You've got a massive amount to learn if you don't know why the sharp bookmakers don't close down smart bettors.

Not easy to find an answer for this online.

Basically sharp bookmakers have a business model where they try and make money on the volume of bets. They change their odds after each bet in the hope of attracting a bet on the opposite side to always have a balanced book and therefore make a few cents on each line they put out. That's why they don't limit winners, they want as many bettors and as much money going through them as possible.

Exchanges like Betfair, Matchbook, Betdaq and Smarkets make money by charging a small % commission on the profit (or in the case of Matchbook, also on their turnover) of players so they also have an incentive not to limit winners, but to get as much money flowing through them as possible.

Most "Normal" bookmakers just want their players to lose in the end because that's how they make their money.

Wow that makes perfect sense, no wonder these books want brokerages, the more volume the more profit due to their very active line changes. I guess the top rec books depend more on attracting the average loser with their bonuses, pretty site and in-game betting.

anyway, I understand now way better than before..
