How about telling us more about what you are complaining about here.

    What did you bet on?

betfair are legit, been playing there since 2010, more than 100 withdrawals, not a single problem.

    ditto

But those that play dodgy leagues and fixed games may well find that their bets are frozen pending the outcome of investigation.
And that's not just Betfair. It should be happening everywhere.

Betfair cheat by skimming their markets with cross-matching. That must make them millions a year.

With cross market cross matching it gets worse as the unwise and naive can get screwed badly with atrocious odds.

And all these £2 bots really get on my these days.

They probably do quite well out of cross matching but as a player I can't see that it hurts me. In fact it means that a bet which otherwise may not have been matched is matched.

But I don't understand why bots are allowed to run rampant making bets for less than the $5 minimum I am required to risk.

Cross matching helps getting matched , take advantage of all the 2 and 5 pound bets laying dormant in the market

The bots probably make a $5 bet above market odds, then they edit it to a $7 bet, then they cancel the original $5 and move the $2 to the required odds. Could all be done in a second or two.

I doubt that's what is going on.
A mate of mine used to do that frequently instead of betting the $5 min. but was warned by Betfair that they don't like it and he might find himself banned if he continued the practice.

I've just found that a bet I posted this morning (mine was the only one at the odds I posted) has just been matched for the princely sum of 73 cents!
It's a frequent occurrence and I really would like to understand how that works.
Is it Betfair's own bot or are player bots allowed to do that. If so, why?
