It was a newly released development and unfortunately affected this customer. We've implemented other safeguards to avoid future occurrences.
He was pointed to a rule regarding bonuses, and HE read it to mean that we had classified his account. That was not the case.
Once we determined who the account holder was, we paid the cash bonus and apologized for any confusion.
