94dakika is a scam (also goes by the name 90dakika)

I want to make a complain against 94dakika.com a bookmaker which is licensed and authorized by the Government of Curacao (formerly the Netherlands Antilles) and operates under the License of Gaming Services Provider, NV. #365/JAZ.

    http://www.94dakika.com/en/about/terms-and-conditions

I have an account with this bookmaker and now when I have asked for the withdrawals they are refusing to process them.
I sent them copies of my id card, recent invoice and print screens from my neteller account from which I made the deposit. I requested the withdrawals 2 weeks ago.

My balance is close to 16,000 euro.
They are not replying to my emails and they close the chat window when I contact them.

    You should avoid this bookmaker.

    Stefan,
If you are following the picks from bettingresource, only bet at pinnaclesports. if pinnaclesports is not available then use betcris/bookmaker and 5 dimes. all the other books will kick you out...even well known boooks like bet365 that has good rating will give you a $1 limit or kick you out. And ofcourse if it is a scam book, they will let you bet all you want but they will disappear when you try to withdraw.

I usually bet on in-play games so unfortunately pinnaclesports and dimes do not have many in-play games/ bets...and bet365 does not accept now clients from Romania

The update I received today from Curacao Gaming Licensing (the the manager from Maslin Properties Ltd has told them they paid me which is a big lie, so I asked them to request from Maslin Properties/ 90dakika the print screens of the transactions):

"We have contacted the licensee to try and obtain more information concerning your complaint. At the time of your email to us we had suspended their sub-license due to ongoing issues with this client.

We were informed by the Manager at Maslin that all your deposits had been refunded?

    Is this correct?
To answer your question below: What do you mean by "they are suspended"?
In Curacao the license is issued by one of the Master License Holders and there are several on island. We have put all their URL's under suspension which means they are now operating without a valid internet gaming license. We are in the process of working with the software companies that supply their games to try and get things sorted.

They have not refunded me the deposits but they tried to lie the Gambling Commission by saying that they did refund the deposits. I sent them the print screens with all the deposits and the confirmation from neteller that they did not pay me.

    They are continuing the investigations.

    The last message received:

    Dear Sir,
We are continuing our investigation as well as working with their suppliers to get issues resolved. We will update as soon as we have a solution. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

Last update...seems that 90dakika continues without a license

We understand your frustration and we are continuing to work to try and resolve this issue. We have a casino that is currently using our seal which is no longer licensed with us. We have been trying to contact them but have had issues getting responses. We are continuing our investigation and have been working with suppliers to explore all avenues to get his resolved. We have no access to their bank accounts as you mentioned in an earlier e mail. We will endure to try and get this resolved as we take complaints seriously and doing all we can to try and get this resolved.

Guys, you should avoid all the websites licensed by Curacao eGaming as they are not providing any kind of consumer protection and they are covering the frauds run by their clients to whom they are providing a sub-license.

I'm still fighting to recover my money and it seems that many of the online gambling frauds are orchestrated from Curacao...I have been in touch with a member of the Dutch Parliament who has requested an investigation of the frauds from Curacao.

Just a thought, but this site is powered by Betconstruct. I seem to remember something similar with bet-52 a while back. Bet52 didn't pay clients, but those that contacted Betconstruct got their payout through them. Worst case it's a way to put some outside pressure on 90Dakika through Betconstruct because without the software to power their sportsbetting and casino, they have to close their doors.

The very simple point is, if your premise is to avoid any gambling websites where the regulator of that gambling website is "not providing any kind of consumer protection and are covering the frauds run by their clients to whom they are providing a sub-license", then you shouldn't register and bet with any gambling website anywhere in the world, as every gambling regulator in the world applies to that category of complete and utter uselessness, no consumer protection and the covering up of scams.

You are extremely naive about this industry to expect any regulator to provide any consumer protection whatsoever against scam companies. Whether it's the "gold standard of regulators" the UK Gambling Commission, or whether it is Curacao, you need to learn, realise and accept that you will get absolutely no help or protection from any gambling regulator in the world.

All every gambling regulator in the world is there to do is to make all of it look official and collect the tax, that's it. They aren't in it to protect customers or anything whatsoever of that nature, and the sooner you learn that, the sooner you'll get smarter about this industry and have a better chance of avoiding scam gambling companies in the future.

For example, even the "gold standard of regulators", the UK Gambling Commission, are utterly useless at protecting customers from scam companies. By the time they revoke the licence or whatever of a scam company, it's always already way too late by then as by that time the scam company has already ran off never to be seen again, and the UK Gambling Commission do absolutely nothing to prevent these companies dissolving and leaving customers scammed and out of pocket.

The latest debacle with the UK Gambling Commission is Smart Live Gaming. From what I've heard about many individual people being routinely owed Ł10k-Ł30k each, Smart Live Gaming closing down and looking to be soon dissolving the company, running off and not paying any customers, they must be leaving customers millions of pounds out of pocket in total. And what have the UK Gambling Commission done about it? By all accounts, absolutely nothing whatsoever. They have just washed their hands of it, said it's nothing to do with them, and are moving onto the next inevitable car crash scam company that they have on their books. This same merry-go-round with scam companies has happened with the UK Gambling Commission countless times over the last few years, and absolutely nothing whatsoever has been done about it each and every time customers get scammed out of millions of pounds. The UK Gambling Commission are an utterly despicable and useless organisation that do absolutely nothing to protect customers. So when that is the "gold standard of regulators", and then you see that the rest of the regulators are actually even worse than that pile of complete crap, then you should start to see how extremely naive you are being in expecting any help or protection whatsoever from any gambling regulator in the world.

You say that "many of the online gambling frauds are orchestrated from Curacao". I expect more scam gambling companies originate from being licenced in Curacao than anywhere else, but that doesn't mean that "you should avoid all the websites licensed by Curacao eGaming", nor does it conversely mean that anybody should assume that gambling companies that are licenced somewhere else other than Curacao are automatically in any way safe either.

The very simple premise that needs to be followed is that whether a gambling company is licenced in Curacao or anywhere else, go through the same process of extensive research into that company and come to a decision about whether you are confident that company is reputable enough for you to register and bet with. Don't have any pre-defined rules about if they are licenced in Curacao that you definitely won't register with them and conversely don't have any pre-defined rules that if they are licenced elsewhere that they are in any way automatically safe to bet with. Scam gambling companies exist all around the world and are licenced all around the world, not just in Curacao, so don't have a pre-defined rule that because they are licenced in Curacao that you must avoid them or that if they are licenced elsewhere that they are in any way automatically any safer, just go through the same process of extensive researching of each gambling company whilst taking into account that whilst most scam gambling companies are licenced in Curacao, not all sites licenced in Curacao are scams, and conversely taking into account that not all sites licenced elsewhere are reputable, and that there are many scams that are licenced outside of Curacao.

Australia has pretty good regulation with real recourse for players. I have had good experiences getting players help from Isle of Man regulator. If you are in Greece, then the local regulator has a reputation of enforcing rules on books strongly.

Even seen 2 or 3 cases where a Curacao sub-license company has genuinely tried to help players (Been a shock each time)

What has happened with the UK system is pathetic though. As you say they are supposed to be the gold standard but it is one jurisdiction where I have no confidence a player will be looked after just because they are right if a regulator is needed.

Malta is even better and that's saying something!

I have not said that all the frauds are from Curacao, but from my experience I can say that I did not have problems with websites with other regulators and trust me, in Curacao you have zero protection, at least this is what I felt in my effort to recover my money.

The guy behind www.90dakika.com is Aydin Ayyildiz who has a Turkish and Bulgarian passport.

Aydin Ayyildiz has been involved in other gambling scams in Turkey and he was arrested in the past for that. I have used google translate to translate the articles below in English. Now he is doing the same scams with another website (www.90dakika.com).

Despite his criminal record, he had no problem to continue his scams from Curacao.

I never said that you said all bookmaker frauds are in Curacao. But you saying "you should avoid all the websites licensed by Curacao eGaming" is simply an utterly lazy approach to bookmaker researching. Wherever the bookmaker is licenced, you need to go through the same thorough process of researching the bookmaker and make a decision as to whether you think they are reputable or not. It doesn't matter if they are licenced in Curacao or anywhere else, never have any sort of blanket approach that you won't register with any site from Curacao and that you are fine with any sites from any other particular regulators or anything like that. It simply doesn't work that way. There are scams that are licenced all around the world, so you need to do the same process of researching wherever the bookmaker is licenced.

And about you saying "in Curacao you have zero protection", what I was clearly saying is that you pretty much have zero protection with all other regulators as well, so I was making the point that you should not rely for one second on any regulator sorting out a problem for you, it's your responsibility to find reputable bookmakers that will treat you fairly, as wherever they are licenced, if they are reputable and treat you fairly, you'll be fine, and wherever they're licenced, if they are dodgy, you'll be in big trouble, as you will have no protection from whichever regulator they are licenced by. You are obviously deluded into thinking that if you get involved with a scam site that is licenced in Curacao, you'll get no help, but if you get involved with a scam site with any other regulator, you'll be fine as they'll offer you help and protection. It simply isn't going to happen, if you get involved with a scam site, it doesn't matter where they are regulated, as you are very unlikely to receive any help on a scam site from any regulator in the world.

The very clear point is, if a bookmaker is dodgy, it doesn't matter where they are licenced, as you are extremely unlikely to get any help on a dodgy bookmaker from any regulator in the world, whichever regulator it is. So the bottom line is, it's your responsibility to find reputable bookmakers and don't rely on any regulator for one second to offer you any sort of protection.

That is good research you have done in your previous post, but it is way too late now, as you are now in a complete mess having already registered, deposited and got €16k stuck in there. Finding out the guy behind the operation allegedly has a criminal record and has allegedly previously been involved in gambling scams is all well and good, but it's useless information now, as with the stage you're at now, if you're going to get scammed, then you're going to get scammed, and there's nothing you can do about it, the only way you could have done something about it is to do this research beforehand.

You needed to have done all of this research
before you registered and deposited with them, not after, as if you had done this research before, I'm sure you wouldn't have gone near them. So nice try with the research, but you've got it completely the wrong way round, the research needs to be done before you get scammed, not after.

So the very expensive lesson you will need to learn from this is, do your full and proper research on a bookmaker before registering and depositing with them, not after, and that way you have a much better chance of avoiding a scam like this. Doing it the way round you've done it is asking to get scammed.

I fully agree that I have made a mistake for not doing a thorough research before and I relied on the fact that they are promoted by neteller and on other websites.
I hope to help other players to avoid the same mistake.
In my previous experiences with problematic bookmakers I had support from the regulator/ gambling commission to make the bookmaker to process the payments (e.g. Malta, Isle of Man or Romania).

Guys, please let me know if you have the contact details of a good lawyer in Curacao.
I have contacted few but they have requested very high down payments...which I do not want to pay as I have no guarantee for the quality of services they are providing.

@stefan80: Unfortunately I can't help you with a lawyer in Curacao but please let me know about how this case develops. I guess you would be the first person ever who sues a Curacao sportsbook. You would create a precedent.

I am suing against a Belgian sportsbook right now which is a precedent in Belgium, too.

So I am very interested in all those "player vs bookie" law things.

    Thanks and good luck!

P.S.: As you may have read I have been scammed by Turkish sportsbook, too: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/foru...l#post26799812

He was a director of the restaurant, (which has now closed), you saw at that address. He's also listed as a director of several other businesses from that address. If he has convictions for criminal behaviour Companies House and the Metropolitan Police might like to hear about those details, especially if he's running a business on a suspended licence. Such details might affect his UK residency status.

Then again with 10 former directorships behind him there might well be a lot of people after him.

If you see License No. 1668/JAZ do not open an account with a website that show that license number (the same used by 90dakika.com and parasino.com)...you will not see your money ever again.

Hi Seljak, can you please provide me more details? How did it happen? Have you been in contact with 90dakika? Did they reply to your emails in these 450 days? When did they ask for the bills and other documents?

According to Public Prosecutor Office in Curacao, the remote sport betting activity from Curacao is not regulated currently and there is no authority to monitor the activity of the entities that allow various website to operate under their master license. They mentioned this in the letter they sent me in response to the complaint I submitted.

If you see a gambling platform/website which shows the license number 1668/JAZ you should not open an account and deposit money…you will not see those money again.

Below you can find a list of websites which are showing the license number 1668/JAZ.
The list below represents only a part (maximum 15-20%) of the list of websites which run the scams and illegal activities with the help of Curacao eGaming.
