In basic terms, you need a "wallet" to store your Bitcoin in and send/receive fron.

And an Exchanger to turn your Bitcoin into cash, or sell you Bitcoin for cash.

Most people like the free online wallet at https://blockchain.info/wallet . After registering you will be giving 5D your wallet address (which is a long string of random characters) and 5D will send Bitcoin to your wallet.

From there you can send it to another book as a deposit or to an exchanger to swap it for cash.

Circle.com or Coinbase.com are the two most popular exchangers. Either is fine. When you join you will receive another Bitcoin wallet with them.

You then send from your Blockchain wallet to your Circle/Coinbase wallet and sell your bitcoin to them. next day cash arrives in your bank.
