    Question about a wire

Has anyone got a withdrawal via a metal string to your bank? Hope that passes editing dept here. Over 6 figures? Timeframe? Asking because thinking about using that method, but have never used it before. Nor have I ever requested a payout this large. Thanks in advance for any info.

For that amount it would greatly depend on the book. What time frame did they say? But if it's a big book I'd guess no more than a week.

Congrats on the big win too

They said 3-5 bus days total. Hoping that is accurate.

Sounds about right for a wire.

I've got some within 24 hours but most take 3 or 4 days by time the book/banks get it done.

    It does sound right

I also think if you live in usa that wire gets reported to the treasury Dpt

Unfortunatly, I think you are right on this one jj. I believe my bank has to file a ctr with treasury dept. Hopefully it won't flag anything with its come april.

You will be fine, the last wire I requested, one for low 5 figures, the entire process took 7 days.

You better file it as additional income though, on the returns for proceeds from gambling winnings, then put all and any losses against it in the same section as losses from gambling...
if you dont file it they will know you witheld the info and that is where you will get the big big bill for all of it.. well 25% of it at leastn but they catch you for with holding then 40% or greater will be the bill,

you can write it off though so would not worry got four months to gather losses.
